Thanks. It's been a long time coming. It honestly helped to forget about it from time to time. Every now and then I would day dream about having it back.

When the number popped up on my phone yesterday, I jumped out of my seat haha.

I was going to attempt to fix it myself but I thought it would be better to just let them handle it. It was probably the better move as the repair guy out in CT even wanted nothing to do with it and he's part of their authorized service center/network.

Crazy to believe it's basically been sitting in a queue for a year. Batter up now for the most part. We'll see what happens but I think I'm in good hands. The rep told me it should be finished within a week. We'll see what happens but I'm going to Atlantic City next week so I'll probably get stuck not being able to pick it up until the following week.

And speaking of female guitarists, I'm a fan of Gabriella Quevedo. If you haven't watched her stuff, go check it out. She's a finger-style guitarist. One of her big inspirations is the former childhood guitar prodigy Sungha Jung. If I remember her story correctly, it only took a year-and-half that she was already playing like that, a gifted and talented natural in her own right.

Ha, can't blame ya. I've heard their gear, but never owned any. Needless to say they make awesome sounding stuff. A year is a long wait. I'd be missing seeing the pretty green & blue with the glossy black in the cabinet if I owned any, and I admittedly have spent more than a few minutes staring at photos of their gear online lol. Although they were on my short-list earlier this year when I was shopping pre-pros, but I went a different direction instead.

And I hear ya on the self-fix thing. Similarly, one of my Oppo BD players crapped out on me some years back. The drive just needed to be replaced which would have been a cinch, especially being that I have more than enough background building PCs that it was a no brainer (and lots of room under the hood I remember, too). But I decided to send it in anyway, let Oppo give it one final blessing as it happened just after they stopped making players.
