I have been going back and forward with BestBuy for a couple of months now on these.

They finally confirmed it, don't know why they haven't changed the pre-order for part 3 to say steelbook,

Probably Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. The next Underworld got delayed until late next year, I thought. It was supposed to come out October 2016 originally.

I didn't think that was accurate. There's been no trailers or anything. The "final" Resident Evil film comes out January 27. Is Sony seriously releasing both films in January?

There's finally a trailer for it, it confirms the January date.

I can't decide which is worse between pop art and fox iconic. There have been so many good steelbook possibilities wasted by these lines. These Underworld ones are pretty bad though.

The only thing I can assume is there was some contest to design these and the onky entry was by some 7 year old who whipped these up in MS Paint.

If that's the artwork they end up going with I'll probably have to pass on these as well. I was really looking forward to having these all on blu ray too

That wave has the right idea. The vertical title is odd as is the bullet riddled wall thing for the background. But Selene's poses from each major poster are what I'm hoping for. But as I said, if we somehow do end up with these, they'd be better than the pop art scheme.

It's incredibly generic, and has some sort of ugly ass pastel or oil painting filter applied to it. Just not the kind of effort anyone should be paying much of anything for. The side banner just makes it that much worse.

I don't get why they couldn't just use the posters. They look pretty great to me for the most part.
