Looks like several Fox titles will be available this Sunday as they just changed the date to 2/14/16. If you look for Kingsman or Hitman or Fantastic 4 those dates are now this Sunday.

For whatever reason, The Martian is still "Not yet announced" but I would have to imagine that would also be available. Looks like Scorch Trials will also be on the 14th!

The Sony and Lionsgate ones are still March 1st so from the looks of it only Fox is releasing them earlier so far?

In any case, having titles available this weekend to try it is very welcome news indeed.

This owner said his arrival date is tomorrow.

I still don't see any shipping notice or tracking info for my FoxConnect orders. I guess I'll be watching my local Best Buy to see if they get any movies in stock over the next few days.

The player's tracking info says it's out for delivery. I guess Best Buy overnighted it after the delay in shipping.

Hoping to get a shipping notice from them soon. I'll hit up Best Buy for a couple of movies in the meantime (Sunday at the latest but hopefully tomorrow).

Mine was shipped yesterday but they have distribution centers everywhere so shipping usually only takes a day anyway even with ground. Mine was shipped ground.

Mine was sent from California. It managed to get from there to Kentucky to Texas in less than 12 hours.

Mine states that it is scheduled for delivery today. Out for delivery from UPS Hub in Cincinnati heading over to Northern KY.

Would be nice if Best Buy puts out some movies today for the release of the player.

Fair enough. In the meantime, are you able to offer any source details? Are these from 4K transfers or 2K upscales? Shot on film or digital?

I'm also interested in the difference between the UHD and BD on a 1080p TV (since it does have a higher bit rate).

Do you have the sek3500 upgrade? I had an hu9000 as well. If you can go snag a sek3500 you'll have hdr decoding.

Are these movies you have soon to be announced/released?

I am keeping my 1080p plasma until it gives up the ghost or I move to a place with higher taxes, so I will let you know if I notice a difference! [emoji106]

My player was just delivered around 11:30am today, my wife brought it in and it awaits at home.

Now the only thing left is the search for movies. Hopefully everyone else gets there as soon as possible!

I just got mine in. Biggest surprise is that this player only weighs 4 pounds. I was expecting a little more heft for a 1st gen. player.

Its possible some stores could get them today but I checked a few stores other than mine in the system today and they all said tomorrow was the delivery date.
