I wonder if any other Oled users are experiencing this with selecting 4:4:4 while resolution is in Auto or 2160

I doubt that all 4K Oled users have HDFury connected for 4:4:4

Those charts make my head hurt, the resolution diff between bluray and 4k is minimal in real world eye test tho. Seemed much more of a diff from DVD to bluray

That's because we have to seat closer to the screen

Any of you has the Samsung UHD player connected to a Denon receiver? If so, what does the Info display indictaes for color space while playing 4K/HDR movies?

Only video player information bitrates.

AV/Receiver show only audio informs like as DTS, Dolby...surround etc....

I agree with the general principle of what you are saying but, unless I am mistaken, the output when you play a disc varies based on player settings. Assuming the disc is encoded as 10-bit 2160p24 YUV 4:2:0 (which most are), you should get the following results...

1) With Deep Color set to "Off", 24fps set to "Auto", and Chroma output set to "(YUV) 4:4:4", the player should output 10-bit 2160p24 YUV 4:4:4.

2) With Deep Color set to "Off", 24fps set to "Auto", and Chroma output set to "RGB (standard)", the player should output 10-bit 2160p24 RGB (standard).

3) With Deep Color set to "Off", 24fps set to "Auto", and Chroma output set to "RGB (enhanced)", the player should output 10-bit 2160p24 RGB (enhanced).

4) With Deep Color set to "On", 24fps set to "Auto", and Chroma output set to "(YUV) 4:4:4", the player should output 12-bit 2160p24 YUV 4:4:4.

5) With Deep Color set to "On", 24fps set to "Auto", and Chroma output set to "RGB (standard)", the player should output 12-bit 2160p24 RGB (standard).

6) With Deep Color set to "On", 24fps set to "Auto", and Chroma output set to "RGB (enhanced)", the player should output 12-bit 2160p24 RGB (enhanced).

So far, it's pretty straight forward. However when you set 24fps to "Off" or you try to play 60fps content, you start to run into issues. Theoretically, the player should be capable of outputting 10 or 12-bit 2160p60 YUV 4:2:0 or YUV 4:2:2. However, the player doesn't seem to be capable of outputting YUV 4:2:0 or 4:2:2, regardless of settings which means one of two things happens. It either reduces the bit depth, giving you 8-bit 2160p60 YUV 4:4:4/RGB (standard)/RGB (enhanced), or it tries to force 10 or 12-bit 2160p60 YUV 4:4:4/RGB (standard)/RGB (enhanced) down the pipe. The former tends to cause banding while the later tends to cause instability, resulting in temporary dropouts or a permanent blank screen.

So, because I have Deep Color set off the player is rejecting 4:4:4 color space

Default Amazon App

I am having trouble playing HDR on my my amazon app. It says that there are no new updates for the player itself.
I have the new Vizio 4k that supports HDR and DV.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have performed the soft reset on the player and am testing Bosch and Mozart in the Jungle

Never mind, i found it.
For those who might have the same issues, you have to scroll down for a UHD section and play from there.

I added a bunch of the UHD HDR titles to my watch list so I don't have to keep scrolling down to find them. For some reason Amazon put the UHD titles way down on the list. And it's a pain if you have to go there every time.

Starting to really like this player. Not only the features and image quality of UHD discs but the Netflix streaming app is incredible. Really nice interface with a 4K menu and everything. There was no 4K audio coming from my Roku and then I saw the Netflix logo on the side of the K8500 box. Duh. What a find! Marco Polo was stunning in 4K.

Well, my UHD Pack should be here today or tomorrow. I am stoked to see these ten movies (well most of them at least) in 4K!
