I've ordered a lot of merchandise from B&H in NY and they are top notch. They are very quick at shipping and I always get the merchandise within 2 days (here in Atlanta).

No need to worry about them.

The blu has a 4k master and is one of the best looking discs ever released

I'll start by watching Exodus and Avatar. Maybe pick up Lucy if I feel like going out.

I cancelled my Best Buy pre-order, it was scheduled to be picked up on 02/10.

Okay I got some tests for you!

Mgo: check and see if it offers the hdr movies through the sammy player. If you already have the western digital dirve, try to play it through the player.

Vudu: see if the vudu app is working. If it is, check and see if there's a uhd section under "collections".

I may have lied. I have the following tv. I think it might actually play at 4K

I may have missed whether this player supports Amazon 4K HDR at the moment. If it does, are you interested in checking it out with a JVC HDR front projector? Not sure what HDR content might work before the discs arrive.

Vudu is giving me an error. I don't think the Samsumg player is activated on their end yet.

I don't use MGO but here is another screen shot of Vidity. Where should the HDR Vidity section be? Which movies are supported?

Having looked on the Video and Audio Center Facebook Page it seems actual media is / has been demonstrated as there is a picture (albeit very small) showing the Cases

Its usually right above or below the regular 4k section.

Can you go into the mgo settings and see what version it's running?

Question to Eddybe.... do standard blurays look better on your tv using this player? Wondering if the upscaling is better handled through the K8500 or the TV (or both?)

Yes, that is exactly what it is. I posted it in this thread, because it saves you the time to go through the AVS Forum thread looking for the thumbnails. I found it useful to check the on screen menus. There was never any question about what the video was.

Version 2.308 - UBD-K8500

Version 2.311 - JS9000 TV

I see the Vidity 4K Ultra HD on my Samsung TV. I'm guessing the blu-ray player may need updates after the mass release. It's already updated to the latest version when I completed setup.

Someone with Facebook and/or Twitter should ask them about the audio details on those FOX Blu-rays. I need confirms on the Dolby Atmos part.

And a photo of the backcover would be nice too.

I'm not a videophile and haven't spent too much time with the player and TV. I don't feel comfortable giving you an answer.

I used a PS4 to watch my movies, and the JS9000 was a recent purchase a month ago.
