I went into Best Buy to see if they got the players in the store, but they had not.

I went to the Best Buy in Eastgate, OH and they did not have any UHD movies.
Sad to say.
Hopefully tomorrow.

Will you be picking up some of the UHD movies (assuming they are out tomorrow)?

Any updates on the Warner Brother ones?

Just to clarify, are these only the Fox titles that'll be available tomorrow or will Lions Gate and WB also be included?

I'm going to grab Kingsman, Hitman, and Fant4stic. Got the 2 Maze Runners and Wild on order from FoxConnect. I'm betting the WB titles will be coming in last as they still aren't listed on the website yet. There is a new listing for Man of Steel with a release date of 3/1 and price of $43 but its an 8 digit sku which is reserved for stuff only sold on the website. Not sure whats going on there.

Only the 10 Fox titles are showing as coming in the week. Fox is Lionsgates distributor but I'm not seeing anything yet.

I see Kingsman on the Best Buy website has the release date of 2/14 and also showing as picking up in stores. Sometimes they get their earlier than the date, you think that could be the case? I'll probably call them first to check and give them the SKU....

Do you get to pull them (or have someone do it for you) before they actually hit the shelves? Also curious if they do appear tomorrow if they will have any issues selling them because they posted a "release date" on the site. See screen cap.

As soon as the UPS guy shows up I will be opening the boxes from Fox to receive them into the system. I'll check if they ring out at the register before placing them on the floor. If they can't be purchased I'll notify the movie guys at corporate of the issue and this kind of thing is usually fixed later that day.

Default Aaand it's here!

Here are a few images of the box and player closeup. Some genius decided to use a watch battery for the remote. Gonna hook it up after stopping by Walgreens later today...

It does not.

No battery, no HDMI cable. Just a manual, power cord, remote and the player itself.

That's ridiculous, no HDMI cable isn't surprising. I don't think I've ever bought a player that didn't come with batteries.

I checked Samsung's website and it does say the battery comes in the box. I'll check again when I get home. It's a CR2032 battery.

That's pretty dumb. At least it is the same battery the 3D glasses on my old TV needed since I still have extra. What a day for the UPS guy to be later than usual.
