Coffee break here at work and checking my email. Looks like I have a interview on Friday for a driving position with a local-ish wholesale food warehouse. Kinda forgot I applied for it as I did so months ago, I assumed since I didn't hear back that I wasn't qualified since I dont have a CDL yet but apparently they just had other applicants to consider or perhaps they have a high turnover rate? Who knows but I hope i get it, I've been absolutely miserable in my current position and as a plus their headquarters are located within 10min of our new house.

Sitting here drinking a cup of coffee and debating on if I’m taking my car or my MiL’s. Had a restless night sleep and up before my alarm. Still need to get showered and shaved, but as long as I leave around 0830 I should be good. According to my map it is a straight shot and I should be there in 36 minutes. Knowing that drive it will probably be closer to a half hour, but I want to get there early. Weather says thunderstorms, but I’m not sure where that’s coming from. Sky is pretty blue at the moment

The usually. Sitting in our carport having a beer. Had to reschedule the interview for next Monday. They wanted me to come back on Wednesday, but I’ve got back to back things. One being, replacing the airbags on my car and having it get the once over.

and this guy comes in and wants to rent a piece of equipment. we ask for id (driver's license) and proof of insurance. but he doesn't have proof of insurance except for picture on his phone of an expired insurance card.

do people really drive around with expired/no insurance and never think about it?! and with kids in the car?! what the hell would he do if he got into a serious accident and he or hid kid was hurt? if he couldn't prove he had insurance, he'd be paying a large fine and possible be arrested (in this state, anyway).

I just don't get people, sometimes. they can be really idiotic...
