going through old VHS recording tapes. one tape that i still have it has stuff from HBO back in 1997 such as Real Sex episode 17, Tango and Cash movie along with the cheesy horror movie Jack Frost and Chain of Command that has Roy Scheider in it

Waiting for the oven to preheat (400 degrees mothefu...) so I can heat up some Innovasian sweet & sour chicken. I'm going to decide what movie to watch tonight. Sunday is for epic films but I do start work at 4am (a little less than 12 hours from now) and I want to do some more browsing the net before bed so I'll look for a movie that's not too long. And not to say that all "epic films" are long ones or that short films can't be epic, but I do like to watch films that are on the long side.

Trying to calm down. My parents asked me to cancel all of their streaming services for them. Some were through Direct TV, some from the Roku and then others here and there. Of course they couldn't remember any of their passwords and they were all different. Now I need some aspirin or a shot to the head.

Watched The Duchess for the first time this evening. I'm not sure how I ever missed this one as I'm a big fan of period films. I did watch The Other Boleyn Girl in theaters earlier in the year but somehow I didn't see this film until 14 years after its release.

Anyway, now I'm going to browse a bit before shutting down for the night. It rained today to my surprise and while it wasn't coming down that hard, I am hoping for better weather tomorrow.

Think I'm going to look at Google Maps for a bit. Probably the Bay Area here in Northern California and maybe Ireland and Germany as well.

Sitting here at work drinking my coffee and waiting for these clowns from corporate to show up. Today is actually my day off as well, but they needed someone from my weekend team to represent us and I pulled the shortest straw. I get nervous around higher management so I don't know what good I'm going to be when they get here, but I'm hopeful to be able to just chill in the back of the crowd and take notes to take back to my team,assuming I still have a team after this visit

Caught some of Queen Elizabeth II's funeral this morning. Running a few errands this afternoon. Probably stop at Best Buy and Sam's Club. Lunch will be CFA and Starbucks.

Got the day off due to the Queen’s funeral. So, once some errands are done might watch a movie on this rainy afternoon. Or, fire up the PS5. Do some reading etc

Listening to Neil Young while I surf around the net. I also bought a new copy of the Criterion Citizen Kane so I am letting the BD play through to test it out. With the first copy I bought the BD and UHDs all locked up. So far so good.

You must be from the UK. Can't see that happening here in the States. Hell...I remember on 9/11 I had several teachers who still wanted to teach and didn't give a damn what was happening in the country.

Watching Game of Thrones....again to further verify which discs need to be sent back to WB for replacement.

On 9/11, I was working in California. Another office closed in a different part of the state closed down due to a potential threat. Mine stayed open. The company didn’t want the billing to be impacted.
