Listening to live shows by Neil Young on his Archives website. I wish more artists would do something like this.

well needless to say i'm going back looking at old movies and tv shows on dvd

apparently seems 300 dvd try to watch was skipping chapter 20 i clean it and now don't work chapter 18 froze<-throwing it away in trash i did see scratches on it

at least i got 4k ha so now i'm going straight into

hopefully no issues too bad no bluray or 4k of movie

Wow, it's been awhile hasn't it? Trying to relax after work today, had some mishaps on my way home from work I noticed my truck was sounding louder than usual still I didn't think much of it (I considered the thought it could've been a car behind/in front of me) but I definitely didn't ignore the loss of power. Yep you may have guessed what happened, my exhaust split in half and inevitably snapped the welds holding the muffler support. I pulled over, straightened out an old wire coat hanger I had in the truck to wrap around it to hold it up and proceeded home. Upon closer look, I'm undecided if I want to try to salvage it with a sleeve or order a new tail pipe/resonator/muffler unit and hope I don't end up SOL from the existing rusty pipe going into the catalytic converter and the rusted clamp bolts holding it together. In my old shop I wouldn't hesitate because I had access to a lift or torch. I think I'll call up a local shop and see if they can get it in early next week and what they suggest. My truck's my livelihood and practically my home(away from home), so I'm not against spending the money if it means getting it fixed right. But regardless on that bad news, the worst came after I got home, I got a call from the Ex telling me our daughter's been hospitalized again. Last time it was covid19 complications 2 years ago, this time she collapsed and the doctors can't figure out why. So boys and girls, I guess when it rains it POURS. Hope your weekend is going more smoothly.

Drinking a beer and looking up trail maps of the local national forest that I haven't explored too much since I moved here, I'm overdue for a backpacking trip and after this past week I could use a short escape. An update on my weekend fiasco, I ended up reconnecting my exhaust with a exhaust sleeve, I'll be replacing the whole thing when I get back to NY in the fall. Its a tad louder obviously (the leak is still noticeable) but clearly not as bad as it was Saturday night and should be OK for a couple months. And my daughter's going into surgery to have new heart stents put in, I guess the stents she had in 2021 failed and clogged her arteries back up. I don't even know if or how that's possible, but the doctors say she's on the mend. It still pains me she's 2000 miles away, I feel so useless. Well Happy Monday everyone!

I just got back from the doctors office, just had my first ever prostate exam. Blood & urine test, hopefully I pass. My boss had prostate cancer, but he was in his 60's when he had it, he's now 75. He said if you have a hard time urinating, then you better see your doctor, and that was his issue. Except for skin cancer, prostate cancer is the #1 cancer for males.
