Resting at home after my interview at bust-buy now I have to wait & see if I get a second interview. Plus I have to go take a test to see about getting a job at my local post office. Lol

I kinda want to work for the post office, can't figure out how to apply here. Hoping your interview pans out, always wanted to work for BB. If only due to the employee discount on movies and electronics and phone accessories.

Ya that would be a definite plus in my book. Though the post office job pays a lot more. Also the interview went better too thanks to a app I found that simulates a real interview. I know this is going to sound stupid but have you tried USPS.com from what I read today that's the only way to apply now.

i thought i wanted to work there; until i got a job working there.

the amount of customers who, on a daily basis, get mad at you for correcting them when they use the wrong term or use a term in the wrong context (usually concerning something with home theater).

it's high DEFINITION.....not high density.....morons!

and no matter how many times you tell them, they always thought you work on commission. trust me, i would NEVER work somewhere that was strictly commission.

i understand that there are probably customers like that everywhere, but for some reason when i worked there they just stood out more than anywhere else. and that definitely made me really not like the job after a short while.

and a good deal of the employees weren't much better. they were all too happy to toe the company line and believe everything, with 100% belief, that best buy knew all the answers and that whatever the managers told them was truth and fact; without question.

I was thinking about applying at one just down the road.

I hear it's not too bad as long as you personally don't properly calibrate their displays or "enhance" their demo set-ups with gear from the store.

When I walk into a BB nowadays it feels like walking into Blockbuster Video a few months before their demise. Tick Tock.

I understand where your coming from sk33tr, I worked at Walmart for a short while & member of the drink the kool-aid gang. But after a while I just couldn't take it anymore & left. But I'm willing to give BB a go if given the opportunity seeing as Walmart was my first job ever & I was pretty naive to the business world at that time.

Well I'm working in healthcare right now but due to the massive size of my debt I need to get a weekend job at some point. Will wait till my boss doesn't let me work OT weekend shifts but I will say this. I really hope my weekend job is as a pharmacy technician, WAY too old to be working in a kitchen anymore, even part time.
