smh at videos about Americans not knowing why we celebrate the Fourth of July or Memorial Day.

some of his questions:

"why do we celebrate the Fourth of July?"
"who are some of the founding fathers?"
"when was the Declaration of Independence signed?"
"who did we win our independence from?"

with the exception of one guy, and one girl who knew the preamble to the U.S. Constitution, no one else knew any answers to any of the questions the host asked.

really, really sad.

Education is the key to everything & it all starts with parents being involved. A large portion of today's youth only worry aboot themselves & go off half-truths & hearsay. It is mind boggling that most of them don't truly understand how the election process works either.

Logging onto my Walgreens account. I recently got a rewards card to Walgreens, so I'm taking a look at their offers on their website. They've got almost 400 paperless coupons, but I don't see anything good except for the 25% off deal.

I am getting ready to eat dinner and finish putting up a few spotlights around the house so that my christmas decorations are finished, at least on the outside. We're going to have a "family" decorating day tomorrow with the tree and getting all the garland hung. Cozy!

I recently spoiled myself with a bedroom system and some Blu's so it's all good!
The truck is out now and it sure sucked to be without wheels for several days.
