Watching Pretty Little Liars season 1 on Netflix before I head off to work. Tooth brushing is more exciting than CPR training but at least it gets me out of normal work for almost an entire shift. Happy hump day!

Just downloaded and installed Plex for all of my music streaming needs. Just loading up my library full of music now.

Seems pretty slick so far and it's FREE. I can also access the stored music on my HD via their app. The client runs on the PC where your music is stored then your devices recognize that PC as a content server.

plex uses proprietary hardware that polls unsafe servers. and they pull from a database that uses torrent streams and feeds.

a lot of people that use plex use it through a vpn to make it more secure.

not saying it's not good software, as i used to use it.

but when i found out some things about it, i discontinued using it as i didn't want to set up a vpn just to use it. so i looked at other ways to do what i wanted to do.

What did you end up going with?

I will say now that everything's loaded (it took a while as I have a TON of music), I really like the interface.
