I didn't notice where you're from. I'm from California so I went to San Diego back in the summer of 1997. How many people do you know that will be going to Boot Camp the same time as you? I had one guy from my high school class go through with me and we happened to be in the same platoon.

Well me and my friend Sean enlisted together and there’s also about 20 other people in the group and we’re quickly becoming like family.

That's good. Hmm, you're from Kentucky. I'm pretty good at geography but I can't think if that's East or West of the Mississippi. How old are you? I graduated from Boot Camp on Dec 5 but was home until January because Corey and I had recruiter's assistance which was pretty awesome because we had no recruiter at our station to watch over us. Unfortunately I broke my finger while home on RA so I had a cast on my hand when I reported to MCT so I got to hang out in SoCal for awhile while I healed up.

I can't say welcome to the family yet since you're still a maggot but I'll look forward to doing so in September

How much do tickets cost and is that something that people can just mosey on down to? You don't need tickets in advance?
I guess Stanford is hosting Oregon today. Must be a later game or at least one that hasn't started since it doesn't seem to crowded yet.

you can usually find someone selling tickets at any college football game. they're usually just walking around holding up the tickets they wanna sell.

and yes, stanford is hosting oregon, but not until 7:00 pacific tonight. so there's still a ways to go before the game.

I was thinking of scalpers. I have no idea what it costs to see a game here. I think they might be having a reunion today so there seems to be a lot going on.
