I just did a quick Google search for Target promo codes or coupons and I found a 10% for Military personnel so I signed up and got the coupon within seconds. I'm placing an order for some Stranger Things items for a guy in Israel and chatting with him as I do it, giving him the play-by-play in real time.

I have decided to start taking 20 minute work breaks instead of 15 minute work breaks. Doubt anyone will notice as long as I don't mention it. Not like either of my main co-workers get much done around here anyway.

Well I usually have a very high work ethic but this is one of those situations where no matter how hard I work it doesn't seem to matter. So it's a toxic situation that's killing my ability to care. Probably still by far the best employee this company has in medical records, which is sad considering how sick I am of the job.

Same thing for me, plus a lot of the co-workers and higher-ups are lazy or stupid or both. Best part is when they try to tell me what to do and they have no idea what they're talking about. I almost went back to school in January but they wouldn't adjust my schedule so I could attend classes. Going to talk to the advisor for the school of social work on Friday. If they don't let me know about my schedule before then, I'll just sign up for online classes and go from there. All I know is I'm beyond done with this job, it's never going to be enough $ or recognition to be worth the hassle.

just got through replacing the alternator on my mom's car.

she had it checked out at the auto parts store. it was no good, so they proceeded to sell her one for over $300. i told her to take it back that i'd find one cheaper. and i did. found one on an online store for less than $100. they charge a $50 core fee, but you get it back when you send the old one back in.

ordered it on monday and it was delivered today. i got it put in in less than 2 hours (personal record, lol).

I worked from home today as my daughter was sick. Ended up taking her to the Dr., followed by a visit to the pharmacy. That was in the morning.

In the evening, I went to the local recycling center and dropped off a huge box, went to the library to vote, went to a few stores to mainly get groceries.

Now I'm on the couch, catching up on here, eating beef jerky, and watching the Ric Flair 30 for 30.
