Chatting with Target as they volunteered themselves to cancel one of my preorders.

Meeting at 4 otherwise for some work stuff.

I have never watched that, and was going to but I heard Netflix is doing away with it. I'll catch it one day though.

WHAT?! You're the second person that has said that to me in the last 30 minutes. You're missing out, bro. It's absolutely hilarious and totally crude, right up all of our alleys. Yeah, they're just doing away with it right before the new season starts in April (expires March 14th), but it'll come back. I'm trying to full binge it until that date.

I've watched all 7 seasons of Sons of Anarchy in just the last few weeks. I plan on finishing it tonight (two episodes to go). I was going to finish it last night but I passed out in no time on the couch. It seriously only took me a few weeks... lot of nights of just straight marathoning lol. I'm ready for a short break though to watch some movies I have yet to see.

I am not sure what my next binge will be. Maybe comedy, but not sure what. Bob's Burgers? Rick and Morty?

Or I've been thinking about Dexter or Mad Men.

Just finished eating the rest of my lunch and reading more of my FCS textbook, almost done with chapter 3. Preparing myself to clock in, wondering why there's a surprise chart on my desk.

Really?

I'm sure it'll live on, it was on real TV long before it moved over to Netflix.

In fact I, along with many other was pissed off at them for going to Netflix
And I'm sure when I pick it up on DVD I'll hate the stupid period piece season "Dreamland" they did on Netflix..

I hope they regain their sense and go back to FX, so I can watch the series as it airs ( like I use to ) instead of now having to wait till it
comes out on DVD.

Lol. The Donster going solo in Seattle. If that doesn't call for a round of shots not sure what does.
I really hope the shots were from the top shelf gang. I honestly couldn't tell you the recipe that makes this happen Biz. We've got a timeshare and she surprised me maybe 3 or 4 years ago and ask me if I wanted to stay up in Seattle the following year?

First day kind of got jacked up. Made it up to Seattle just fine, dropped the bags off, then the boy and Uber'd back to the room instead of the cluster**** of the WSCC area.

Long story short, they ****ed up and put me in the wrong room. So I had to pack up and switch rooms. So I didn't get down to the Con until around 1430. Luckily, between the root beer barrels and drinks I was feeling pretty good by the time I got up to the Artist Alley.

All in all, had a great time despite some social anxiety for a few of the days. More on that below. Definitely looking forward to next year and hope it goes as smooth as this year did.

Man, I definitely feel like Cap in some of these threads. Even at the Con I was pulling out some classic references and was met with blank stares. I'm like how can you not get that? Aren't you a fan too?

Gotta say it looks pretty good either way, all I made this morning was pancakes and scrambled eggs.
LOL, my ice breaker all weekend was, "I'm sorry. I'm a stay at home dad. So my mental capacity is that of a 8.5 year old. Please excuse any minor foibles because of that." My wife does this awesome scramble mix (miss the potatoes) and ketchup is my sauce of choice unless it is in a breakfast burrito. When that's the case it is hot sauce.

[Show spoiler]

Me: What the heck?? Did I send those to you? I've had my phone in my pocket but I have no idea what happened lol

I don't know if you see what I do but it looks like I sent a few emojis and a picture or something. I have no idea what happened lol

Her: Interesting. Looks like your pants might have a lot they want to tell me? ; )

Me: Umm, no comprende lol. I'm on my phone now but I'll hit you back when I get on the comp. I type quite fast so typing on the phone is a bit of a drag.

Her: Hahaha, no problem. Just being funny, har har

Me: My pants were sending you an invitation (And then I sent out the sticking tongue out happy smiley)

Her: No doubt. But to do WHAT exactly???

Me: Absolutely anything you want. It belongs to you now (And then I sent three laughing/happy emojis)

Her: Haha, okay! (But honestly, totally joking around!!!)

And now I have to come back with a reply. I might mention it real quickly and then go back and read and address her last messages to me. If someone told me that she was the one for me, I would not be surprised. She seems pretty into me and with my insecurity, that's a big plus and she made a good impression on me when we first met back in October. Think I might tag her on my timeline but not sure if it will embarrass her.
Dude, I was definitely going through this a little bit over the weekend. I think I peaked on Thursday, but some of the charm came back and didn't feel as forced on Sunday. Friday was autograph day and was kind of a cluster **** that worked out in the end.

I ended up getting pizza and wings delivered instead of going out. I'd had it with people at that point. I was pretty wiped on Saturday and sat in on a few panels instead of trying to walk the floor. I ended up going to bed on an alcohol only dinner.

The place I planned to eat was only doing appetizers and I wanted a meal. As I said to a few people, I remember walking back to the room in patches

I really enjoyed this show growing up. I was able to reminiscence back before the Sci-Fi Channel developed an identity crisis It was very interesting watching it with adult eyes and realizing how much the actors messed up or forgot their lines. I remember seeing a stage member standing in the background for an entire scene

I'm with Rage. You guys really need to check this show out. I think I'm on Season 6? I really hate hearing that it is getting dropped from Netflix. Any idea when? Outside of BS'ing with a friend last night I haven't watched jack shit since I got back home. It has been straight to blankets for this cowboy.

See, now here's one. Never seen Rick and Morty or Invader Zim I think I've caught up with most of the active threads I'm in. Need to motivate myself to catch a shower and make that Costco run. Have to get my permanent crown tomorrow. Hopefully that goes smoothly. Need to talk to the Mrs about talking to her boss about his dickish behavior on my last visit. I don't mind being spoken to sternly. I've been yelled at by far worse. No, what pissed me off was apologizing because I wasn't sure what he wanted and him not acknowledging it. He kind of just breezed over it. Still, she's trying to keep things copacetic until we get our ducks in a row and I don't want to blow that by given him a taste of his own medicine

Just getting home from work and some grocery shopping.. I was trying to relax but I kept hearing this nagging voice over and over again: "Daddy I'm hungry! What's for dinner?" Gee one would think I starved that kid or something.. That said I'm getting ready to fix some mac & cheese, who knows what we'll have with it though.

Can you imagine doing Dark Shadows 5 days a week from 1966 to 1971 on ABC! It spanned 1225 episodes!!

Quote:

Really Spectacular Lapses -- The Bloopers
In her 1970 autobiography, The Bennett Playbill, Joan Bennett discussed her Dark Shadows experience. She coyly mentioned the occasional on-camera faux pas: "I found television an infinitely more spontaneous medium (than movies)," Joan wrote. "As our executive producer Dan Curtis says, altogether too cheerfully, 'We work the hell out of them! It's death in the afternoon and panic in the streets every day on the set. If somebody blows a line, that's too bad.' Although the show is taped ahead of time, it's a 'live' tape technique, there's no way of going back to correct mistakes and, occasionally, there's a really spectacular lapse."

In the 1970s, Joe Dante (later a successful horror movie director) was a reviewer for Castle of Frankenstein magazine. He wrote about his affection for Dark Shadows: "The budget apparently doesn't allow for re-taping, so every fluff, camera misdirection, visible crew-member and production error is left in, endowing the show with some of the excitement and human interest which made live TV so much fun back in the dear, dead Fifties. Nothing arouses audience empathy more than the sight of a harried actor groping for forgotten lines while trying to steal a discreet glimpse of the cue card. Despite the occasional mistakes, or maybe because of them, DS is highly enjoyable."

Dante was right. These "spectacular lapses" -- also known as "bloopers" -- are one element that makes watching Dark Shadows so much fun. Props fell apart, actors went up on their lines, Jonathan Frid had a habit of reading his co-stars' lines from the teleprompter, and sometimes a stagehand would even wander into a scene. But the show went on.

Kate Jackson (pictured left) described an on-set mishap to People magazine in 1991: "I had to say this long speech explaining why I was back from the dead," she said. "I was standing in an 1800s dress, with candles all around, and the back of the dress caught fire. I was already messing up the lines and all I could think was, "Why is David Henesy dancing around back there?' He kept me from having to scream, 'Aaaaaaah! My dress is on fire!'
