I was getting ready for work this morning when I started hearing heaving sounds come from my daughter's bedroom. Just my luck, she's sicker than a dog. That said, I just called into work and let the weekend supervisor know I wouldn't be able to make it in to help them today. Fortunately it was 100% voluntary so I won't be reprimanded for it.

Now I'm sitting here comforting her until she goes back to sleep then I'll likely go back to bed myself for a few more hours..

Got a little more free time to myself today and stayed gone a little too long. So might be a family day to make up for it tomorrow. Going to have another drink, refill it and head off to bed.

Just polished off a plate of cinnamon rolls with the kid. Surprisingly she's feeling much better than she did at 3AM. Dammit, I could've used that overtime pay, oh well.

It was pretty mediocre much like most (all?) of Rob Cohen's films but I enjoyed it.
