Actually in bed after a killer day of sightseeing. Left Portland early this morning, drove NE to Mount Rainer in Washington, made the absolutely breathtakingly beautiful drive up to Paradise where everything was snowcapped (and it was snowing), came down from the mountain and completed the final of the trip by driving NW to Seattle. Resting up and getting ready to rock out tomorrow after a good night's sleep.

the unspoiled nature of this country, especially the midwest and nw, is absolutely beautiful. i really did enjoy, when i lived in portland/vancouver, my off-days from work. i'd just get in the car and drive north, up i-5. totally worth wasting the gas just for the sights, alone.

i'm currently in that stage. looking almost every day and applying when i find something i think i'd like.
