Filled out some more online applications and hoping at least one of them contacts me for an interview. Need to get things in motion and keep the lights on. The Boy has the neighbor boys over and is playing. So I’m chilling, listening to Pandora and going through the forum.

Thanks gang. The move isn’t the issue as much me being a stay at home parent and only having 1 job on my resume because I can’t find my old resume. The job process has definitely changed in my absence. This whole login/password/create an account is for the birds.

Which I’m sure sk33tr knows all too well. Anyway, chilling at the moment or trying to. Have to get a couple of Disney movies to fulfill my obligation, but The Mrs has to get involved instead of just asking me to handle it. Night all.

Checking my voicemail and sending a text, apparently my ex wants to get together sometime this week to explain why she left so suddenly. I commend her for that but right now I'm thinking about not giving her the opportunity. That said the 7+ yrs we were together was a long time and I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss her.

Well I've never been in this situation before but here's what I would do. I would go and listen to what she has to say but with no intention of winning her back. At least you'll get closure. Practice role playing the conversation before you go so it's less likely you'll have an over-reaction if she says unpleasant things.

About to head to the El Paso Alamo Drafthouse. Going to use my Sinemia ticket of the day to go see Assassination Nation, probably won't get to use it again soon, don't see myself going to the movies in Minneapolis. Should be fun, their tacos are good.
