Hey Mike, take my advice (and I think scarriere’s?) from someone who’s been there and don’t link up with your ex. Yes, 7 years is a long time, but she left your ass twisting in the wind. So why not reciprocate? Because all she wants to know is if she’s still got you just in case.

My first ex wife (I’ve got 2) played those games with me up until I met my current wife. When I saw how much it hurt her I stopped talking to her. Change your number and move if that’s what you need to eventually move on. Just realize it won’t happen overnight, but the right one will eventually find you my friend.

Dropped mom off at the hospital for a routine check up, now sitting at McDonald's having breakfast (their coffee sucks btw) and catching up on the news. Coincidentally ran into my ex who was getting a cup of coffee(she's working at the pediatric outpatient clinic across the street this week). She was in a rush as she was running late but gave me her new albeit temporary address and quickly told me she was moving out of state. She was offered a full time job in PA and decided to accept it. I guess she didn't think I'd want to move out of NY although I haven't a clue where she would have got that idea from. Oh well atleast i know she didn't leave me for another guy...and on her way out she said let's stay in touch so I guess she's open to continue being friends. Guess some people just can't be in a committed relationship.

About to head to work, just finished the first of two papers for this week in philosophy class. Going to try to finish the second one after work before bed. Normally I wait till Sunday to do these but this week I will be in Minneapolis so probably not the best idea. Also intend to spend as much time as I can in Minnesota studying for Nutrition and Counseling classes. Gotta bring up my Nutrition score and want to get an A on that Counseling exam that's coming up on Monday.

Sitting here having another drink. Wound up like a yo-yo at the moment. Just feel like crawling back in bed at this point. Have a phone interview tomorrow and hoping it goes well. Then The Mrs and I need to compare online prices with in store prices for a new washer and dryer. Hope everyone is having a good Monday.

Ah man, I get it. I'm dealing with a little bit of that right now too. I was hoping that the move and having The Mrs home would help things, but it feels like I'm the last box on the checklist. Seems the only time we spend together is running an errand. I literally told my wife this old dog is tired of chasing his own tail yesterday.
