Got home a bit ago after a long week of orientation for my new job. Time to make some dinner and relax

I went to a X-Mas luncheon with several of my coworkers today. We went to a local restaurant and I ordered the boneless barbecue ribs. I really think that I ate too much, even 4 hours later. I might skip dinner tonight.

3 of my coworkers gave me small gifts, too. I feel bad since I did not give them anything.

i picked up an extra shift tomorrow so i gotta go in 4 hours earlier than i was scheduled. but that means more money so i'm good. of course that also means i have to actually set my alarm, lol.

This is my first Christmas working with people in an actual company in 3 years and I'm just grateful to be here.

I have to put an ebay seller with a lot of negative feedback at ease because they just messaged me about receiving my items and handling problems. There is not problem.

Been nursing a hangover after going out for a few drinks with my co-workers last night. They kicked us out at 3am when the bar closed, I think I'm getting too old for that shit, felt miserable all morning.

Gonna pay some bills now and then head out to the post office to send back a part I ordered for my truck but ended up not needing.

Sitting here playing catch up in the forums. I’ve been preoccupied with finding a job and Red Dead Redemption lately. I’ve had a couple of phone interviews, one led to an interview, but I didn’t get the position. On the bright side, they want to keep my file open and call me back once something closer to me opens up. But I’m trying not to put my eggs in that basket. Love my Mrs, but she’s starting to piss me off on following up with a company I’ve followed up with 3 (now 4) times and still haven’t heard anything back. I realize it is the holidays, but have some follow through people. Sorry for the rant, I’m just getting frustrated with both home life and employment status
