I’ll be curled up into a lil ball soon. I’m frozen.
The temp gauge on My Machine said -30C (-22F) last night and while outside, I was thinking to myself, “Wtf? Why am I so cold? I must be getting old!”. But when I got back to camp I was told that it was -42C (-43F) without the windchill.

Working some overtime today to help pay for my upcoming wedding. We were crunching some figures last night and I couldn't believe how expensive it's going to be. Fortunately neither of us are interested in a big affair but still we're looking at around $8000 for only our immediate families. Freaking ridiculous for a piece of paper!

yeah, i never understood the need for a big, lavish, expensive-as-hell wedding. basically you're spending a whole bunch of money to let people watch you walk down an aisle and say "i do".

but $8000 sounds like a big affair. sheesh!

Went to the Blazers/Warriors game last night with my daughter. The first pro BB game I've ever attended.

It was a lot of fun and she has great seats. It was a lot of fun, even if the home team lost.
Today, I'm just resting since I have to get up before dawn to fly home.

Absolutely nothing.

The husband and son are on the road so that leaves me here alone. The house is clean. I was so bored today that I wandered around a couple of stores.

Wasn't a total loss. Got Split UHD for only $9.99 at Best Buy. Went to a bookstore and briefly considered buying a Churchill bio. Instead, bought a birthday gift for a friend's little girl.

So, tonight I'll probably put some music on, get on the laptop and do some writing to make my brain work.

Cooking dinner and watching In the Heat of the Night on TV. Hopefully the girls and boy can keep it down tonight, they plan on staying up til after midnight to ring in the new year, unfortunately I have to work tomorrow.
