Watched an episode of Stranger Things. Now I'll listen to music or read until I go to bed.

Damn, get better bud. I remember something biting me at our Airbnb and boxing my ear with my UAG part of my phone last year. I swear that hurt more than the actual ear bite. But my ear did the same thing as your foot.

Sitting here drinking some crappy bourbon whiskey called Kelsey Creek someone recommended to my wife. I think I’ll switch back to my Ethan Koll whiskey once I finish this one up. Debating on if I’m going to play a game, watch something or soldier through what I’m doing right now until I head off to bed.

LOL, how are you younger than me and sound so much older than me sk33tr I’m sitting here having another drink while I download Ryse and probably Doom before I go to bed. Old man rant. Anyone remember when you could put in a game and the only thing you had to download was the DLC’s that came with it

i remember games that came on a cartridge. my first system was an atari 2600. no downloading of anything, just put the cartridge in and off you went. took MAYBE 3 seconds to load. that's certainly one thing they did well.

of course, now we have hard drives that are based on that same technology and the load times on those things are getting quicker. the boot drive on my pc is an ssd and it loads more than twice as fast as it did with a standard hdd.

and i may older than you think (maybe...that all depends on how old you think i am, lol). of course, i don't know how old you are. but age is a relative term, to me. and i refuse to grow up, dammit

Does Tim Horton's in Canada brew differently than their US locations? I always see you raving about them but when we had one locally down here I wasn't too fond of their coffee, then again I don't really go for the doughnut shop style coffee ... Maybe it's just a personal preference

O/T: working a shift of over time til 1500, although as much as I hate being here I'm really not in a hurry to go home, the girls took a trip to her sister's in PA this morning so I'd be going home to an empty apartment(not that that would necessarily be a bad thing lol)

I don't know if they do, I've only been to the U.S.A. once and didn't find a Tim's.
While there, I had Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts. I thought the Starbucks mocha that I had was pretty good. Others felt the same, the lineup at 4:00 a.m. was insane.
Dunkin Donuts was definitely stronger. Tim's gets me wired when I've had two. With DD's, I could've won a marathon.

With Tim's I think it's hit or miss on people liking it. It's just a fast food coffee, but there's always lineups no matter where you go. I always call it the Crack of Coffee, there's so many of us addicted to it.

ugh...i LOATHE starbucks. they always seemed to burn their beans or something. every time i ever had something from there it always tasted horrible. it could've just been the idiot behind the counter, but this was at different locations and it was always the same. but i don't go there anymore for that and other reasons.

Tully’s was my favorite espresso chain in Washington until they closed up shop. Then I found a few indie stands that knew how to make mochas. Like anything, it is finding the right balance.

Download took so long on Doom that I ended up going to bed last night. The whiskey was kicking in and I was starting to doze in my chair. On the bright side The Xbox shut itself off at some point.

Now I’m sitting here having some coffee, listening to Spotify and playing catch up in the forum. Hopefully today is a good day. I have that follow up interview with the no show tomorrow. That will be interesting to say the least

Grabbing a bite to eat at a local Chinese buffet with a couple coworkers...oddly enough when we walked in I was starving but now after my first plate I'm feeling full, what is up with that?

I don’t know Mike, but I had a Samoan buddy and his cousins shut down a Chinese buffet for a couple of days during a break in between phases in Ranger School

I just got back from a beer run and think I’m going to play a game. I just have to decide which one
