Sitting here rehydrating, waiting on someone to pop up on the Ryse multiplayer and thinking about going back to bed for a few more hours. Closing with the other lead tonight and wondering what’s on our workload. Between inventory and needing to get the closing procedures down. So hoping it is an uneventful day.

not overworked....just a tiny bit overwhelmed...sort of.

going from a few years of just part time to full time is a bit of an adjustment. my body wasn't used to being up and moving around that much, lol. i was sore for a few days from all the moving and walking...but that's done. now i just gotta get my sleepy time used to the cycle and i'll be good.

going to full time right out the gate is a disaster. at least for me. I rather work like you years of part time then go to full time for the job I'm in end to get use to it but as long as you are not a barista at starbucks you my friend can accomplish anything

Just finished responding to an online class discussion and reading chapter 2 for my adolescence class. Will see how far I can get in reading for Chapter 3 for my baby class before work. Really hoping for 4 As this semester, don't think I've had a 4.0 for a college term, ever.

Finishing this rum & coke my Wife made me after this 12hr work day. Think shes trying to get me drunk though, theres more rum than coke in this glass (not that theres anything wrong with that). She just hinted to me that she's about to take a nap before her shift tonight, so I think I'll join her

Winding down for the night, just made the mistake of telling my daughter I was thinking about working more OT this weekend, her response was "NOOOO, Please don't" and she's been clinged to my side ever since. Strange stuff in the Mike16 household tonight.

I helped close. Did pretty good all things considered. It was super busy this evening. Hopefully tomorrow goes smoothly. I’ll have the store manager with me. So now I’m sitting here drinking and trying to get two achievements in the survival mp of Ryse, but no one is playing that mode.

I think that I am, but it's been by my choice. I've worked 5 overtimes in the last year which means I've been up at camp far more than how much I've been here at home. The reason I think I'm overdoing it is that I struggle to not be cranky or on edge at work, which makes no sense, I like my job and the people that I work with.

OT, having coffee from Tim's and browsing around.

Eating my daughter's lunch because I unconsciously grabbed the wrong lunch bag on my way out this morning. Fortunately she insisted on having the same sandwich as me so only the snack items are different but hey I get chips and cookies instead of an apple and granola bar so score! And don't worry I asked the Wife to give her money to buy her lunch if she wanted.

Resting on my couch. I had to leave work early today. I turned quickly to my right and felt sharp pain on the back/side of my hip. This is my first time using sick leave this year.

Feel better Victory. Closing went alright all things considered. I definitely need to go behind my closing crew until we get people worth a shit. Apparently the kid we had closing with us didn’t do what I ask and was a no show this morning. Anyway, sitting here having a good, stuff drink thanks to being low on diet ginger ale. I might switch over to rum for one more drink. I’ve at least got 7-Up for that. Night all.
