Getting ready to punch the clock for another day of mandatory overtime. Hopefully shit goes smoothly today because rumor has it we have a important visitor from home office visiting. Management has been frantically running around making our appearance super nice all week. Last week the higher ups did a surprise safety audit and then lambasted us on Friday for not having some paperwork done. I wasn’t nailed, but easily could’ve been. I don’t really care though. If they took safety issues more seriously, I may care a bit more about their lil safety cards.

Yeah, apparently my portion of the day outsold the store manager. So I’m going to put that feather in my cap and point it out (as one of our cashier’s did) if I get my balls busted for not completing a reset when I’m too busy doing my duties to the store.

Up early, already shaved and about to take a shower. Have to mail off a package and praying it doesn’t eat up my profit from the auction. eBay took a nice chunk out for fees and taxes! I might need to look into my account to see why it didn’t wait until a month to bill me collectively. Anyway, working a mid. Hopefully I can get my price changes knocked out quickly.

I’m not to optimistic, as I’ll have the boss working the day shift and he’s constantly, “SQUIRREL!!” Which throws me off on the things I need to focus on. Still love the job and company. I’m just not confident that he can get me where I need to be within it. But I’m going going to (reluctantly) hold off on speaking to the district manager for a little bit longer.
