Working til 5pm and drinking some ultra strong coffee and trying to wake up. Wife and I had a chat last night and she's talking about moving out for awhile, claiming we need some time apart. I dunno maybe she's right, maybe the month and a half on two separate occasions we were both out of town for work wasn't enough.

Sat through a pretty jarring earthquake that thankfully lasted like 15 seconds. Apparently the epicenter was in the San Gabriel Valley.

About to head to work for a 1-close shift, at least I can sleep in tomorrow before my 12 (or maybe 1-close) shift. Looks like I'll be only working about 24 hours next week so I better "appreciate" these marathon length shifts while I have them.

Pretty beat after a couple long days. Ended up going from Santa Cruz up to San Francisco. San Francisco seemed really packed today and it occurred to me that besides being a Saturday evening, it's all outdoor dining so a lot of the people you wouldn't normally inside the restaurant, are now sitting outside. Good vibes though.

Hey Scarriere, was downtown the other day and decided to take a pic. I've never been to a hockey match but I have seen tennis matches at the arena.

Well she finally did it to me, she packed her stuff up and left while I was at work yesterday. Even our house guests claimed ignorance when I came home. Ended up polishing off a bottle of Canadian Whiskey and a six pack of beer, the rest of the night was a major blur. Needless to say I'm a little hungover right now.

Getting ready to piss my store manager off by letting him know I’m not going to be coming to the “mandatory” store meeting tonight. I’m still sore and swollen. Which is why medical leave got pushed out for another week by the surgeon on Friday. What’s funny is they feel I should be fit for duty by next Monday despite the pain I’m going through

Man what kind of employer would expect you to go into work while on a medical leave? Pretty sure that's against the law in every state.

Thanks sk33tr. I just sent her a few texts and left two voicemails in hopes for some kind of response, of course she ignored all of them. I'm pretty sure she went to her sister's in Pennsylvania(her closest remaining kin) and have considered hopping in the truck for a little road trip but I've managed to talk myself out of it as I don't want to make things worse between us. Guess I'll just wait to be served with divorce papers at this point,its likely inevitable at this point



OT: watching some Supernatural on Netflix,drinking a Dr Pepper and helping the kiddo get ready for her first day of in-school learning tomorrow.
