I just got a text saying the city took the (street) tree down in front of my house.

The tree came straight up and then branched off into another big trunk sized branch and trucks kept hitting it over and over again and cracked it right down the trunk.

It's a shame the tree had to go but on the bright side, there won't be anymore squirrel poop on the roof of my car

Watching Camping with Steve on YouTube and cooking dinner, sausages with the kiddo's favorite-mac&cheese. Her mom told me she wanted to discuss 'something' with me but hasn't said what yet, I'm thinking it has something to do with their forthcoming move to Japan.

8 mile run this morning, 2.83 hour practicum shift and a quiz after Just finished watching the Jets game while Voyager was on in the background. Going in at 8 tomorrow instead of 8:30 to make up some of the time lost from leaving 50 minutes early at the practicum site. Child volume at that daycare plummets after 2, which is why I always try to go in as close to 8 as I can for my M/W/T/F shifts.

Volunteering after my practicum hours are done should be interesting, at least it will look good on the resume and give the kids a chance to see me some more before I leave.

well I've always been a high motor individual but I would imagine most of my current stamina comes from being a marathon runner.

Working til 5-ish then I get to pick up my goddaughter's mom to drop her off at the dealership to pick up her car. Still shaking my head at that, I've been in the trade for almost 20yrs and could've fixed it for a fraction of what the stealership is charging her.

Just finished an assignment for my informal teaching class that's due Monday, hoping for another A lol. Almost time to leave for work. Have more help at work tomorrow than today so unless we get out earlier than I think we will tonight, I will be getting in my weekend miles this week on Sunday instead of Saturday. Extra day of rest would probably make it more likely I actually get to 17 lol.

Surfing the internet while waiting for the sun to come up and the day to get under way.

Never ended up going to Centerfolds yesterday but while Google reports them as being open, I couldn't imagine how they would be during these times. Other counties are reopening for socially distant indoor dining though. We got back from SF at a little after midnight and now we're heading back up.

Going to take the scenic route again which will probably include driving up the coast. My buddy isn't originally from California and doesn't know the area too well so it was cool to show him stuff. We ended up stopping at this deli and getting something to eat and then right next door was this bakery with an amazing selection of pastries and sweets. I ended up getting a combo of coffee dutch almond and black cherry gelato with a slice of tiramisu. Met my first Georgian (country) at the bakery which was cool. I always enjoy meeting people from all over the world.

Getting ready for work and feeling a little envious of my goddaughter, she built a little pillow fort in the living room to sleep in last night. It's the little things in life...

I'm starting to have flashbacks of my childhood now.
