1:32am and just surfing and chatting with someone who lives where it's currently 10:32am. I'll set the alarm for 6am and see if I can get up to watch the French Open final.

Wanting to buy something before I shut it down for the night. Maybe I should buy a book that will teach me how to keep myself from making impulse purchases

Watching more season 2 of Game of Thrones in 4k. Chilling some bottled water in the fridge, going to go run pretty soon because it's already pretty warm. Been having battery charge issues with my left hearing aid so I'm charging them again, hopefully they'll have enough charge in them to last the day before I leave.

Just took my Sennheiser headphone covers off to remove a tiny hair on the diaphragm that was causing heavy sound to rattle. I'm thinking about maybe replacing the foamies with leather ones. The foam ones get SO dusty.

Edit: Reading that sheepskin changes the sound. Damn.

Washed my headphone pads in a pot of slightly soapy water, then rinsed and let them dry in the sun for a few hours. I didn't know it was okay to immerse them in water. They have much less dust crusted on them now, but still aren't like new. Should have done this sooner. Good enough, though.

Back in NY for the week to celebrate my daughter's 11th bday, take care of some appointments and hopefully fill a Uhaul trailer with some of my belongings I'm storing at my parents' house up here
