Last night with my daughter, we've been watching Halloween movies on Netflix. Not sure if I'm leaving NY tomorrow or early Thursday yet, my brother asked if I could swing by his new house for a bit, it's about two hours out of my way but really isn't too bad. I also need to talk to the Ex about future plans but I don't know what she's doing tomorrow.

My Love and I are having coffee and watching the news.
We heard a cat meowing outside and saw that it was the same one that followed us home last during our walk last night. It's -1 C (30F), so we've let him in to warm up for a bit. Last night, I called the number on his tag, but got no reply. We'll feed and water him, then should let him out again.
His tag says “ Just prowling for *****es. Please don’t call my Mom “ and the other tag has her phone number.

then running to menards (hardware store) to get some 4x4's for the fence i'm putting up in the yard this weekend.

the city finally approved our variance last week so we're able to put it inside the 2 foot requirement between property lines. after i get home, i'm going to mix up the concrete and get them set up in 5 gallon buckets. i've set posts that way in the past and it just makes it so much easier to level a bucket than trying to set and level the post by itself in the ground.

Finally made an appointment with an ENT doctor so I can have them cut my nose so I can hopefully breathe easier.

Heading to see No Time To Die tonight, all 2.5 hours of it with two cans of pinot noir concealed in my pockets.

I got that at my workplace last month. My manager was trying to make a big deal over it like I cared, I was like 'bro, I've been working for this company for almost 10yrs got this award 3x its literally a participation award who cares? I just do my job and leave, sure I'm cross trained in different areas so I come in early and stay late most days but I still don't think I deserve it.

Yesterday My Love, Aunty and I took a day trip to Jasper, which is in the mountains. It was a great lil trip and the supper we had was pretty awesome!
Soon I'll put on the Canucks/Oilers game that I recorded, it's the start of new hockey season...yay!

Well I probably did the dumbest thing I've ever done last night. It was good hanging out with my brother and his fiancee but I should've left the Fireball alone. That stuff messes me up every time I drink it. Hungover today, I feel nauseous and I've got a 13 hour drive ahead. I'm also going through my phone and noticed I made a couple calls/texts that I have no recollection of, really hope that doesn't return to bite me in the a** later.

got a COVID test this morning due to rules of this year's Middleburg Virginia Film Festival (both immediate testing results AND vax card) - ugh ... what an inconvenience. Finished some leaf raking, going to go on a bike ride, a gorgeous early afternoon.

I had to come into work two hours early so started at 2 pm instead of 4 pm but that mean's i will be leaving a little earlier tonight and then finally going home to watch the first episode of Chucky that is on the DVR.
