Gearing up for a mini road trip tomorrow with my Love to hopefully find a new to us campsite and having a scotch and soda as a mini celebration to an upcoming raise in pay. It's only $3/hr but that's better than nothing right? It honestly couldn't come at a better time, with her out of work and lawyer/court fees from this damn child custody case which I'm likely to lose anyway. I'm also scheduled to give my first presentation on financial stability/budgeting 101 tomorrow morning, which as someone who always struggled with public speaking I'm not looking forward to but at least this one's an internet seminar so I don't actually have to be in the same room as the people I'm talking to. Ugh still got some anxiety issues..

I’m still thinking about staying another week and half for overtime. I don’t really want to but with a concert trip coming up, it’d be a good idea. Wife is good with whatever I decide. If our FurBrat had a say, it’d be no.

I miss taking work trips, haven't taken one since summer of 2020, I always extend them (that OT pay on top of per diem is hard to pass up even when you end up working 16hr shifts 8 days/wk).



OT: Drinking some tea with honey & lemon this morning while I watch some YouTube. My Love had a last minute doctor's appointment yesterday to discuss some test results, she's been pretty bummed ever since, not something we needed right now (she was already borderline depressed after the job loss).

A Knife or Scissors will stray off the fold and cut into the envelope off center,

Happens to me all the time when I just reach for the scissors or a knife instead of letter opener

At Barnes & Noble and about to head to Ross, Home Goods, Dollar Tree probably and Target maybe. Will probably watch a movie later this evening if I don't get home too late and I don't plan to. I used to start work at 4am so I've gotten into the habit of trying to start my movie by about 6 or 7pm.
