Just got in from work. It's my Friday, so I'm really looking forward to staying at home for the next two days and doing nothing. Wednesday was inventory day, so this whole work week was crazy preparing for it, especially since people from our department were being pulled to the floor to help with the prep work, leaving us barely keeping our heads above water at times.

I still think the Homer on Bat episode is still funny because of the pro baseball players like Strawberry and the other guys

Drinking a beer and watching my Love pack for her two month work assignment in South Carolina. She flies out first thing Monday morning. And of course I'm leaving for two weeks in NY the following Sunday, wish she was going with me, but I think it's going to be mostly helping my Ex and daughter pack for their move to Washington at the end of June (something I've been dreading but it is what it is I guess) and a mini family reunion (I say "mini" because I have no clue how many relatives are still around and will actually be there).

What up gang. How are things going? It’s been awhile. Still acclimating to Lufkin and just accepted an assistant manager position with Goodwill. I took a hit in pay, but it was by fair the best interview experience I had. I don’t start for a couple of weeks. So that gives me some time to chill with my girl. Now we’re just sitting here wrapping up the first episode of The Time Traveler’s Wife before we watch the movie. Have a great weekend and I hope to be around more.

Just got off work not too long ago. Hit up Walmart for a loaf of sourdough bread and some butter. I'll head home pretty soon and finish watching Once Upon A Time In Hollywood tonight. I started it last night and didn't mean to make it a two-night event but I was tired.
Went up to the rooftop of my apartment building for the first time last night. I wasn't sure if we had rooftop access. I'm still not a downtown guy but the view is pretty cool.

Listening to some vinyl on my brother-in-law's turntable wondering what I am even doing here. I'm dog sitting and so far, it's been hard. Not happy with my choice of knives I bought. My oldest sister doesn't have 4K and doesn't do physical media. Despite having a blu-ray player. Oh well, another day tomorrow.

Surfing the net before work and thinking about ordering some movies from Best Buy. Also doing a Walmart customer service chat because I'm trying to order one item for in-store pickup but they're still charging me the $5.99 fee for being under $35 even though I'm not having anything shipped.
