Up way too early, the kiddo's on the phone with her mom and I'm waiting for the coffee pot to fill up with the magic potion that wakes me up and gets me moving in the morning. Meanwhile I think I'm going to watch a couple videos I saved for later on YouTube.

I just got back from Tim's with my usual starter fluid and am about to put on the news.

There's a couple of different places that I/we walk our FurBrat and yesterday at one, it looked like a train was starting some grass fires as it moved along beside the park. I'm hoping to see something on the news about it.

Ugh.. same here. Woke up before 5 am and couldn't go back to bed. I hate days like this. I knocked out unintentionally a little while ago, and when I woke up I'd missed the first 4 picks.

Listening to the most accurate cover of Alice in Chain's "Love Hate Love", which is the pinnacle of difficulty to pull off for any cover song, especially within the Alice in Chains song catalog. This guy is legit (don't let appearances fool you, as it did me at first).

Layne's voice was so incredibly filled with pain/despair mixed with his unmatched ability to belt out those wallowing highs and lows. Lets not even get into the acoustics of the room either. After hearing this, I was left.....

Compare for yourself. Here is the song performed back around 1990 at The Moore in Seattle. Best song I have ever heard live, this performance is sooo much better than the original recording.
