I was at Blaze Pizza and dropped a napkin under the table. When I went to pick it up, I found an unused TJ Maxx / Home Goods gift card (the scratch-off portion was still intact.)

I turned it in to the Blaze Pizza employees, but now I'm wondering if I should have just kept it. With the way gift cards are tracked, usually by credit cards purchasing a gift card and store loyalty cards, I just didn't think I could get away with it.

Off today so came up and got my clam chowder and now in Half Moon Bay. Pretty overcast today but the temp is nice so that’s okay. Going to head north on Highway 1. See if I make it into SF. If I do, I’ll just put around a bit.

well my internet went down for 2 hours due to an outrage in my area lucky it's back up now

Played Bloodborne & beat 3 DLC bosses. I can stay up as late as I want, since there is no work tomorrow.

I'm in Los Angeles, and I guess I have to prepare for a hurricane? What the deuce.

Hurricane Hilary is currently projected to dump most rain in the Imperial Valley and eastern Inland Empire.

If it moves 40 miles to the west, then this area is in trouble - we are not prepared.

Looks to be late Monday or Tuesday before it gets further up by where I'm at (San Joaquin Valley), but it won't be as strong as when it hits SoCal. Stay safe down there!

Just surfing a bit. Might lay back down and shut my eyes for a few minutes. It's almost 10pm so definitely late enough that I should be up but I got up earlier than intended (on my day off). Going to catch an 11:10am viewing of The Voyage Of The Last Demeter on discount day and then probably grab a bite to eat at Costco afterward. Not sure what else I'll do the rest of the day.

About to call it a night and get some sleep…in my car. I’m camping tonight up in the mountains. Have two days off so will have some good outdoor fun. At about 5,600 feet right now.

Having a simple but delicious raspberry sundae after taking a nice drive and a little bike ride at about 10,000 feet. Going to head out to the lake and do some kayaking soon I think. That’s the plan anyway.

Recovering after a great two-day getaway to the Sierras. Worked a quick 4 hour shift today, watched Barbie on National Cinema Day, browsed REI and then ended up at Red Robin for their crazy Mountain High Mudd Pie. Dude went bonkers with the whip cream I think lol
