Hit McDonald’s for bfast this morning. BOGO sandwiches in the app.

Went with the bacon egg and cheese McGriddle & Steak egg and cheese biscuit. I usually get the steak on a bagel but the biscuit is cheaper. Only thing that sucks is they didn’t include the white sauce that comes on the bagel and there’s no way to order/customize it in the app. They call it breakfast sauce. So the steak egg and cheese biscuit is rather dry.

It was announced that bagels will be back on the menu nationwide after they disappeared during the pandemic. It’s too bad they only offer plain bagels. It would be great if they offered everything or onion bagels.

Watching Omen IV while I grind some more in FF IV in the background before that 10-3 shift and 14 mile run. Body battery is nice and steady/high + persistent cough from yesterday is mostly gone so I'm hoping for a nice pace.

Remembering how the parents were convinced there'd be a house showing while they're in Iowa, I doubted it the whole time. We seem to have passed the initial wave of looky-loos who wanted to see why this house was on the market so (like I've been saying since October) I doubt it'll sell before 2025.

Ordered a vrbo for myself and my uncle for that June trip to Minnesota to run Grandma's. Uncle's been very helpful to me during these Minnesota trips so I'll pay for the entire vrbo, although I wouldn't be against my parents slipping me a bit of the cost back to me at some point.

I don't know what the difference is. Oh it is a an air b n b, almost $700 but all the hotel rooms I saw were at least $1100 and sold out. Guessing due to Grandma's Marathon runners snatching up all the rooms that allow less than a 2 night stay.

Well I get it, it's a tourist trap/air force city so accommdations are probably scarce during big events. It's a pretty big race for such a small city so they're probably packed to the gills that weekend. Doubt we'll stay after the race except maybe to go back to the room for a bit(had to pay for 2 nights) and then drive back to Prior Lake. So maybe I'll slip into the room and take a shower. The cost of this trip pretty much guarantees I won't be running Grandma's again soon from Cruces. At least I found the Air B n B, an $1100 room probably would've meant I would've needed to ask my uncle and my parents to help pay for it. Plus I hate hotels so it works out.

Looks more like food from Taco Bell, which isn't surprising considering you live in Minnesota. Definitely going to miss authentic Mexican food when I move but I'll just have to learn how to make tortillas myself and make it at home in Iowa.

LOL I've had authentic Mexican food in the Midwest, made by real Mexicans. It doesn't taste the same but I'm glad you enjoyed it. Not sure what we'll eat in Duluth in June, I'm sure my 71 year old uncle who's spent most of his life in Minnesota knows all the best spots.

Eclipse fest is over. We had limited visibility even though it was a partial eclipse on my side of the state. Very cloudy. It got darker in NYC and the temps here never dropped below 60.

Suddenly in the mood for Mexican food.
