My lab results show that my vitamin D level is non existent so I am sitting out front soaking up some sun while listening to tunes. Of course once I sat down the neighbor decided he wants to mow his yard.

Looks almost as good as my homemade chicken satay!

Sitting at work waiting for it to end while I'm playing Joni Mitchell's Shadows and Light.

You ain't just whistlin' Dixie. Tonight is my weekly movie night with my friend and my movie choice for tonight is Twister on 4K UHD-BD. I got it Tuesday and haven't watched it. Can't wait. It's in my top 10 movies of all time. I'm also showing Phenomenon on Blu-ray. Not sure what her movie is. So excited.

Don't sweat it. Everyone has that as they get older. I've had it for a while now. I don't do a whole lot for it.

They were out of cold brew at the Starbucks I go to. How do you run out of cold brew? Called an audible and went with the iced flat white.

Done with 34/42 of onboarding trainings, going to read more Fall or Dodge in Hell before I go see Longlegs at 5:15. Will get some food at the theatre but I'll save a bit of cash by drinking a water before I go into the movie.

:
It is a bit strange but ive encountered them being out of refreshers on several occasions. Thankfully ive got 6 Starbucks around Scranton so if one doesn’t have it, the other(s) likely will.

My Twister 4K is showing a delivery date between August 6th & Sept 4th lol. I did read it’s got a weird green tint to it.

Doing more onboarding trainings before I go for a 3.5 mile dreadmill run. Was asked to water the yard plants first thing in the morning but didn't feel like it, will do so tonight at about 7:00.

2:28pm and I should be getting ready for bed but I'm not quite ready yet. I just checked online and they already have our upcoming 7/19/24 paycheck info available. This will be my first paycheck after being converted to FTR. Besides the fact that I got a $5/hr raise, I also get night differential pay (worked hours between 6pm and 6am I think) which is at least 7.5 hours of my 8-hour day. I also get Sunday premium pay and this all makes me very happy

It was. Her movie was Cold Around The Heart. I chose to show Kindergarten Cop on 4K UHD-BD since my copy came in. Twister was SO GOOD. The picture was just glorious. And, MY GOD, that sound mix was unbelievable.

Finishing the final bit of Fall or Dodge in Hell before I start 1 of the other novels I bought recently.

I do only have 2 of the 3 Baroque cycle novels so I will probably trade Fall or Dodge in Hell for the third novel in that series.

Played with a new girlfriend for about an hour. I think this one is marriage material.

If any of you have bad days, I can't stress how much throwing a leg on a motorcycle just makes all that go away. You can't get it from a sports car. But you can get it on a motorcycle. Even a scooter. There is just something.... Some kind of spiritual cleansing... When you ride. I've heard motorcyclists call it "motorcycle therapy". It's deep. And I recommend those who aren't cantankerous and have either a sporting sense of balance or can rock a car in the ice and snow with confidence, to go out, buy a cheap scooter or motorcycle, and see what it's all about. Someone once asked me why I skydive and I gave them the most incredulous look and said that since we humans have been here on earth, every experience of skydiving ended in death. Only in the hundred years have we overcome it. Why wouldn't everyone want to experience it? Motorcycles contain the same argument. I just want to encourage anyone who had the physical/mental aptitude to go and try it. This world would be a better place if people did. /end_rant

About to go get my dog some food and treats and try to grab some more low-priced novels from the local bookstore.
