Drinking a cup of coffee and getting ready for work, think I'll stop at BK on my way in tonight for a burger and fries. F*k my diet, f*k this worthless life I've built myself. Texted my daughter this morning to wish her well on a big science test she's been stressing over all week and to wish her a happy valentine's day and she ghosted me. Surely she's not too busy to reply "thanks dad." Even my Ex text me 'Happy <3 Day'. Oh well, I'm assuming she's still upset with me.

Trying to psych myself up for the weekend by planning to watch Thunderbolt and Lightfoot then maybe Apocalypse Now, although I am not sure what else as the weather's a bit wretched. Been working two to three jobs for about four years now and have decided to quit my two part time gigs and try to find my interests/self again (one of them was restarting my blu-ray collecting last year. Going to try to get in to fishing again and want to start working out).

I dare you to do chest with bid on one day and back and tris on another day. I know you would think chest and tris go together and back and bis together but my real dad used to do it the former way. I think he wanted a press/pull combo. I think he did shoulders and quads and then hamstrings was a different day I think but I forget what he paired them with.

On lunch at work. Come back a little after 5am and then only have 1.5 hours to go. Going to try and get my taxes done today.

I scheduled an appointment to get my taxes done at 10:45am this morning but I think I'm going to try and go as a walk-in when they open at 9am. I'll bring a book and my laptop in case I can get seen sooner but still have to wait or in case I have to wait until 10:45am.

I need to remember to place an order for a couple movies during Target's B1G150O sale. I'm not going too crazy since I got some credit card debt to pay but I will probably get a movie or two. It's your job to remind me to place an order before the day is over.

Besides the potential Target order, today may be a no-spend day or it won't be. We'll see how it goes.

I liked to do chest and back when working out because some of the back muscle are already activated when working on my chest, so since they are loose, I find it easier to transition back and forth between chest and back (total of 18 sets). After I was done with that, I worked on a different muscle group, and that was abs today (15 sets). I hate working on abs.

When I was done with all that, I did some cardio.....which was a 30 minute run.

Saturdays are a heavy day since I have time, but it is still a bit much to do for this 57 year old.

By the way, its been 3 months now of working out at the gym and eating right....gained 30 pounds! Not sure if I will get to my goal of 40 pounds gained, but time will tell.
