I don't see them releasing The Thing unless Universal lets them do a new transfer. I don't think they want to deal with the riot that will happen if they released the same master as the current release. Same goes for Army of Darkness.

Wow, so far I'm in love with the deals Scream is doing with Universal. The Sentinel, The Legacy, People Under the Stairs... I'm pretty sure The Serpent and the Rainbow is right around the corner.

If only Shout! could get their hands on A Kiss Before Dying I would die a happy man...

Popcorn is coming this year or next year from Synapse films... Waxwork and warlock are with Lionsgate so who knows when we'll get those, but I agree all would/will be great.

The rest of the Phantasm series is my holy grail. I would love a Halloween type box set with the new movie included.

This seems like such a no brainer to me that I just have to assume it's going to happen whenever the new film finally comes out. It feels like it was announced forever ago, so hopefully everything will come together soon.

I'm thinking maybe a release date and trailer next month. The cast and Don along with the director of the new flick are going to be at Texas fright are and said there will be a surprise after the screening of the original.

They damn well better have more than a trailer to announce. This came out over a year ago already...

I'm hopeful that they'll announce the film's release date and a Blu Ray set with it.

They are recording a live commentary during a screening of Phantasm on 4/30. They are supposed to announce some news. My guess is the release date for 5, or the announcement of a box set. Cross your fingers.

Don't know if you have a region free player, but there are foreign editions of Warlock if you're interested. Don't know how the transfers look tho

I cant speak for all the titles but I can say anything with Warner is most likely staying with Warner (Deadly Friend , Pacific Heights, Body Snatchers)
If any of them are with Lionsgate , Sony, Paramount or Image, then its also unlikely
Clownhouse is a title I have read in forums that it may never come out - there might be some legal issue with that film
