The pervious poster was referring to the Halloween box set.

However, Scream/Shout don't license these films for forever; rather for just a period of time (I believe Cliff said five years, when asked about it). It's entirely possible that their releases will eventually go OOP if they don't relicense the rights.

If you're looking for just a bloody flick, it won't be worth it. However, it is a very well done horror flick, and is worth checking out on that basis alone (not to mention that VCI's Blu-Ray for it is pretty damn good).

Scream Factory, hurry up and announce GHOST STORY. We all know it's a possibility, before people start buying that German release . If you haven't acquired it, then shame on you

Saving up for Comic Con. Wanna try to beat out last year, which'll be tough. In the meanwhile, I predict announcements of Vincent Price 3 in late June, so,e more Italian doubles, and some IFC/Chiller titles (Human Centipede 3, 5 States of Fear).

If there is a "Summer of Fear" in June again this year, then we should be able to expect an announcement or two as a part of that event in a week or two. I certainly hope they don't wait and "Save Up" for Comic-con, as that makes the ultimate disappointment even that much worse. I'm hopeful that this will be the year that Comic-Con brings some solid announcements, but in the past few years, the comic-con announcements have left a lot of people disappointed. Honestly, I don't even know why they bother saving things for comic con. I'd much rather they just put out a new announcement every other Friday like they used to. It keeps us talking, and if done right, by the time all the announcements have been made, they can then start over and start rolling out special features and artwork announcements. With even just 5 movies they could stretch things out for over 20 weeks, basically right up to release of the films themselves.

-Sunday is the three year anniversary, so I wouldn't be surprised if they do something to celebrate the occasion in some way at the end of the week.

Was the full list of films that Warner gained access to from Paramount 3 years ago ever made public? (I believe it was for 500 Catalog titles, was it not?) I'd love for a Tales from the Darkside release this year. I'm curious if it was included in Warner's Deal or if it's something Scream Factory could make a play for right now.

Not quite complete.

Edit: That WB / Paramount deal was a 3-year deal that should be over at the start of 2016, unless the two parties have come to terms on an extension.

Thanks for the link to the list. Seems Tales from the Darkside is under Warner's control for at least 1 more Halloween season. Hopefully we'll see it released this year, and if not, then hopefully Paramount will license it out to a smaller studio for next year.

It was said *not at this time* but I have every reason to believe that VP III will still happen at some point. Kino has just a couple of more VP titles to announce, Olive has one , TT has a couple.. so the theory I have is, it will happen.. maybe not right away but I really think it's more than possible

That's disappointing. I still need to get Volume 2 but more Price is always a good thing.

My guess is that if/when Scream releases Volume III, it'll be slimmer than the first two collections, but some is always better than none.

I just sort of assumed that Kino Lorber was pretty much filling in the gaps after the two Vincent Price collections from Scream Factory, but I know that there's a lot more out there.

"No plans at this time," can really only mean one of two things*. They either don't have more VP titles currently, or their plans for whatever titles they have left don't involve a third boxset. Assuming Scream Factory definitely has additional VP titles, I'd have to guess they'll be released either individually or as double features, instead.

Would love to see them release The Sender. Tarantino is also a big fan of it apparently.

Seems more likely from Olive than Scream Factory.

Scream shot it down, since its with Paramount. Interesting about seeing the same post for the Sender here and ironically on Scream Factorys post to page section and also mentions Tarantino. What an incredible coincidence !
