Its not the best movie ever but i've always had a soft spot for it. Its got some good 80s horror actors in it and KNB effects but i never ever hear anyone mention it. Would love a scream release.

Yeah, I think Nightwish is a blast; it would be an excellent Scream Factory release. Unfortunately, I believe it's locked behind the Lions Gate. Our best and pretty much only option at this point is an old, out of print Spanish DVD (full screen and no extras, of course), or that laserdisc you mentioned.

Hmm, probably not enough for me to double dip after buying the Arrow steel. I would've been interested in hearing from David Keith & Cathy Moriarty (she had some interesting things to say in the Cammell doc).

Those deleted scenes are great, though. I don't know why they were ever cut.

tomservo92 mentioned in the Psycho II/III thread that Australia is getting a BD release of all* the Psycho films, including Psycho IV and Psycho (1998). Wonder if this means Scream can release those here since there's HD masters available? (Assuming they are all actually in HD of course.) I think Halloween (or the 30th since it's on a Friday) would be a great time for those to be announced.

Bates Motel is just a DVD, but Psycho 98 and Psycho 4 are listed in the set as BDs, so maybe they'll be a double feature?

Thanks for the correction. Should have read the post more carefully.

But yeah, Psycho IV and Psycho 98 would be a good double feature. Maybe do something similar to the Troll/Troll 2 release and include a DVD with Bates Motel on it for the first x number of copies.

The Blu-ray of Night of the Demons, which is a Collector's Edition, arrived without a slipcover. I'm sure that I'll come to terms with this after months of extensive therapy and precise medication dosages.

(Actually, I'm ambivalent about the slipcovers. All of my other SF Collector's Editions Blu-rays have them, but it's not a huge issue.)

I'm looking forward to delving into these when October comes around!

I ordered mine from Amazon. Have no fear, because Deep Discount will probably give you a slipcover.

Anyone else hate how they dropped the blue banner from the Collector's Editions? And what were they thinking changing the font for the special features on the back of the "Shocker" case?

The font.. on the back of the "Shocker" case is just a little too big and not in the style of every other single Scream Factory release. Just wondering why they can't be consistent.

God, I hope so. I got Terror Train and The Burning as well as Night of the Demons and I'll be incredibly bummed out if any of the three don't come with a slipcover.

Well that bums me out. Guess I'll assess the damage when I get my package.

I also ordered Sleepaway Camp and Lake Placid from Amazon. But those came out last year so I should still be getting slipcovers, right? Right, guys?

I got Terror Train (and They Live) last year for Christmas. My mom ordered them off Amazon and both came with a slipcover. So there might still be a chance.

However, you can always keep an eye on eBay for people selling slipcovers. Just a couple weeks ago, someone was selling an Escape From New York slip for only $5.
