Spookies is sooooooo bad but I know I wouldn't be able to help myself if it ever got a Blu Ray Release.

It has an interesting production story. Would love to hear some commentary on it.

Valentine (2001)'s @ Warner Bros., zero to none chance.

Just got the info for you -
"Studio Canal and Canal + are the same company, they are not part of Vivendi, they may have some deals with them like they do with Lionsgate, but not the same company."

Oh, that sucks . I bought the DVD the other day for $1.99 but would've like to have a BD of it someday. I guess that means no possible Fear Dot Com either. I know those movies aren't considered great but I like them & would easily buy a BD release of them.

That would be awesome BUT I would also like to see Lionsgate get it and Moose Jaws and release a good North Trilogy box set. Too bad all of his Askewnevirse films are with different companies cause I would be all over a Big box set with a documentary about the entre saga once he finishes it

Well, Lionsgate has Clerks, Amy, and Strike Back. And they have licensed titles from Universal (Mallrats) and TWC (Clerks 2) for a Tarantino box set, so there is hope. Dogma is the odd man out, but if they use the existing disc, Sony shouldn't take issue.

I don't think Sony owns Dogma anymore. Weinstein Company probably owns it now (I forget).

I own both on DVD as well and revisited Feardotcom last year Summer for the first time in about 13 years. It's not the best thing in the world, but it's an interesting film that should get a BD release at some point.

I've mentioned this before, but I'm still pretty floored that Scream Factory hasn't tried to put out a Basketcase Trilogy collection. Those films just Scream (no pun intended) Scream Factory material. I know the first has had a stateside release but parts 2 & 3 haven't seen anything over here. I own the UK Steelbook of the trilogy and am more than happy with it, but considering Scream Factory has no issues releasing their own versions of films released before, this is just begging to be an addition to the line up.

So when you order from Shout it says that you should get a shipping notification. Has anybody else actually not got one.

I had an order last week, took about a week for them to ship. I did get a email, got my order already. I placed a 2nd order yesterday and I already got a shipping email.

Thanks right after I posted I got a shipping notification. Oddly enough it's a shipping notification for the item I ordered yesterday. Still haven't got a email for the first order.

I agree with this. I own the first 2 on DVD & haven't seen the 3rd yet so a trilogy release from SF would be a day 1 buy.

Does anyone have a good comparison between the MGM and Scream Factory Mad Max release? Trying to decide which one to pick up. I never get around to watching extras, so if the picture quality is decent on the MGM release which is a couple bucks cheaper, I might go with that version.

With it being with Universal, you know it's just a matter of time.
Using that logic, I am wondering if Scream Factory will ever do Child's Play 2. I personally could care less about Child's Play 3.

You should be good with the MGM version then, the MGMs PQ is slightly better than the SF edition.

Jaws 2,3, Child's Play and The Thing have been shot down numerous times by Shout Factory- I know that they would like to release them, but Universal has a tight grip on their franchise films. Im sure that if enough money was offered, Universal might consider it. Id say The Thing would be the first domino to fall. Time will tell..
