Probably no. Not in the United States.

If a company can figure out who owns the rights then yeah I'm sure any independent distributor would love to make money off Fright Night Part 2.

But I don't think anyone has and thus it's still in film rights limbo

Sorry, I know this movie has been discussed here to death, but what's the story with Fright Night II? Why that movie had such a poor distribution in the US? It was barely in the theaters and now no one even knows who owns it

no worries, but yeah, it's been requested around here countless times... even though I personally found it to be a very weak sequel, there are clearly a good deal of fans wanting this title.

to give you hope there were a ton of requests for the cable sequel PSYCHO IV as well that were shot down time and time again.... now it appears to be coming!

Very nice. Hoping for 2-3 more July announcements over the next week or so (we know Return of the Living Dead is coming, and Psycho IV can't be far away). I can't see any other Morgan Creek titles being in there, as they'd probably want to save Exorcist III (and if they have it, Dead Ringers) until later in the year. That said, I suppose Pacific Heights, Freejack and Diabolique could be possibilities (just to be clear here, I'm talking solely about the Scream line rather than the general Shout line).

What I don't understand is why that movie had such a poor distribution in the US, it was barely in theaters, and now nobody seems to know who owns it.
I consider the film a very fair sequel, it's one of the few sequels I like as much as the original film. Psycho IV on the other hand...lol
But I'm glad Psycho IV is being released as it has its fan base. I'm not against the release of any film actually.

As for Morgan Creek titles for Scream Factory one I can think of not mentioned is a favorite of mine "Stay Tuned" which could be either Shout or Scream Factory.

I believe "Serial Mom" is with Universal as they last put it out on DVD. It is probable Scream could get it and maybe "Tales From The Hood" too.
