It's just a wishful thinking, at this point. I believe it's coming from the fact that Uni has taken control over the Paramount catalogue in the UK.

The Dead Zone, Silver Bullet etc., are all still listed as In Print on the WB press site.

As some of you recall, we had to cancel the release in 2014 due to problems we had with the film elements. However, we recently located a decent theatrical print which will now allow us to integrate the sections from the film print into the interpositive we transferred originally. (The IP we had appeared to be a TV cut as all the nudity and violence from the R-rated version was missing.) Please note that since some footage is from a print there will be a minor (but unavoidable) noticeable difference to the eye between the IP and the print.

Facebook says they found a theatrical print so they're going to use that to fill in the missing pieces from whatever materials they had before.

Bravo to them for not giving up on it.

when can we expect one of those BIG Scream announcements again? The one where we get up to 10 titles all announced at once with collector's editions and so on....

seems like it's been forever.................

It's probably worth mentioning that during the last 2 comic cons people weren't exactly thrilled with the titles announced however. Based on previous years, announcements during May/June were always more highly praised/received than what was inevitably announced at the event itself. One needs only to read through this thread and the resulting disappointment following each Comic Con to see that.

That's true. I remember the disappointment during last yrs Comic Con announced titles as I was one of them.

2013 had weak Comic Con announcements (outside of Nightbreed & Cat People).
2014 had strong lower-tier announcements.
2015 had mediocre announcements.
