I agree. It would be ideal if they could release it with 'Cabin by the Lake' (2000 and also by USA).

I definitely would. It's a really fun little anthology film. I'm sure Breaking Bad fans would enjoy seeing Bryan Cranston face off against an evil monkey. Plus, it means I could ditch my double feature DVD with Cherry Falls.

But more importantly, I'd want an upgrade of this from the USA catalog:

I still have these taped off USA. Unfortunately, I missed the DVD release. I've been keeping an eye on prices over the past few years and used copies usually linger between $40 - $100, with new copies asking for between $100 - $800! :O

Scream Factory, please help! If there's no HD available for it, I'd even take an affordable re-release of the DVD double feature.

I'm still waiting for Cry_Wolf, personally.
It's with Universal and IMO it's one of the better new wave slashers.

Also, I wouldn't hate a double feature of The Hitcher remake and The Hitcher II: I've Been Waiting. Both also with Universal.

Turistas wouldn't suck either, and it's with Fox so maybe something will happen.

I'm so grateful for Scream Factory, but there's still a lot of gems stuck in the dirt that I'd love for them to mine out for us!

She had a minor roll on Vampire Diaries and some MTV show. She's also been doing some TV Movies. Sadly nothing too big where she has a main roll.

Saw Cherry Falls tonight, my first time ever seeing it. I liked it a lot, I thought knowing that an uncut version existed would lesson my enjoyment but it didn't.

You sound like me! I've been pushing for Cry Wolf and Turistas for over a year now. If the Hitcher is with Universal, I could see them doing that one.

I'd love to see a Trilogy of Terror / Trilogy of Terror II double feature. Don't know who they belong to and if it would be possible or not.

I'm actually surprised that these haven't had a release yet. Did either ever even have a DVD release? Both of these are fondly remembered by everyone that watched them back in the day.. these seem like a natural release for someone. It makes me think that they're a) tied up in rights limbo or b) because they were tv movies no suitable masters exist.

Trilogy of Terror was released on DVD in 1999 and then got a Special Edition in 2006. II was only released on DVD just this past November.

Zuni will not be pleased if these remain unreleased.

Honestly, even if they go to Universal, I doubt Universal is going to do much more with them. Universal is even worse than Warner.

If we want to see new films hit blu-ray a Universal/Paramount agreement might be better for the "licensing" deals, but probably not by much. It would actually be better off for people hoping for the floodgates to open if Paramount skipped doing a deal with Universal, and instead signed deals with Twilight Time, Kino, Shout, etc. That's probably the only way to get a steady flow of Paramount titles at this point.

Pre-order begins on our site first @ https://www.shoutfactory.com/…/f…/the-boy-who-cried-werewolf

Synopsis: Richie Bridgestone’s parents are getting a divorce, but that’s the least of his problems at the moment. Richie is hoping his parents will reconsider and on a visit to his father ’s secluded cabin, he witnesses his dad being attacked by a werewolf. Much like the tale of the boy who cried wolf, no one in the town will believe Richie’s claims that his father will change into a werewolf at the next full moon.

This was the third and final pairing of actor Kerwin Matthews and cult filmmaker Nathan Juran (Attack of the 50 Foot Woman, The Brain from Planet Arous). The two had also worked together on the classic 7th Voyage of Sinbad and Jack the Giant Killer.

I've got a 10% discount code if anyone wants to use it. I'm in the UK, so won't be using it.
