I think the other person meant a Collector's edition with new extras, slipcover & reversable artwork. That one you listed isn't a special edition it's just a regular release. I'd buy both Fly movies if SF put out CE's of them day 1.

It has a ton of extras. How is it not a special edition??? The making of is over 2 hours long.

Damn straight it's a special edition. I have the blu ray myself, and it contains everything that the SPECIAL EDITION dvd had which needed a second disc to put all the goods on it. Regular releases are usually a commentary and a trailer... with a 10 minute long featurette at best.

That's a very early title so it will be a crap shoot ordering from a retailer. Only guaranteed ways at this point will be to buy from ebay with a specific listing mentioning the slip, in person at a retail store, or possibly used from this forum or others like it, again mentioning a slip.

The copy I ordered from the Amazon sale just came with a slipcover, but that's obviously no guarantee that yours would if you ordered from them.

Yes the Fly 2 does need a good Blu-ray release. I just recently purchased the Fly on Blu-ray and watched it again. Good but disturbing movie.

also need to start watching all the Screams I bought, also sad to hear Over Your Dead Body didn't sell well, it premiered at the Stanley Film Festival, along with Stung, The Boy, and The Hallow

I am so jealous of those who got Terror Train with a slip. I should have just ordered that and The Fog for those amazing sale prices and taken my chances. My existing copies are mint so I probably could have sold them off. Those are the only two SF releases that I would rebuy for a slip!
