I really hope so! I would die for a House 1/2 blu ray release.

So if this sells out insanely fast as return of the living dead and the thing did does that mean we will see 2,500 for the next deluxe edition?

RotLD 1000

I'm really surprised this two slip cover thing has been so popular. I'm tempted to buy just to flip but in my opinion the extra slip is the ugliest one yet.

They'd be fools not to.

I like the alternate cover A LOT more than the one that they're using for the standard release, one more reason why I'm going to jump on the deluxe edition for this one.
Will sell the poster and slip for the standard design too and make back most of my money!

This was the response I received via Facebook from Arrow Video regarding the possibilities of House (1986) and House 2 The Second Story:

Arrow Video
Thanks for the suggestion Roy! These aren't on the horizon just now however.

I'm kinda hoping that Exorcist III will be done in the style of "Nightbreed" rather than the two slipcovers of these recent Deluxe Limited Editions.

I like the alternate cover more too. I ended up parting with the posters for ROLD and it paid for the entire movie, so I may go that route with this one as well.

I'm counting on it. Anything less will be a disappointment.

Agreed. I just hope it's priced better than the Nightbreed LE.

I thought Nightbreed was expensive cause they had to pay out the nose to include the theatrical edition, because Warner is bad news. I wouldn't think they'd have any such reason to this time.

It was probably a factor, but I think they were also counting on fans opting for the 3-disc Limited Edition release to help offset their restoration costs.

Just curious, how did you go about selling your slip and posters? I purchased the deluxe thing and don't really like the extra slip or have any interest in keeping the posters.

Warner called the shots on the 5000 limit and when it sold out, SF went back into Warner's offices and they agreed on 5000 more ..

I am 100% certain Exorcist III will be in the vein of Nightbreed.. And Id be surprised if it wasnt a limited edition to be honest.

I was referring more to the $50.00 price discrepancy between the Limited Edition release and the standalone release.

That was probably a request from Warner Bros. too.

Perhaps the Exorcist III LE won't be nearly as pricey (then again, I didn't pay too terribly much for my copy when I ordered it from Blowitoutahere), but my gosh, I just love to see the LE release come with a gorgeous chipboard box and two individual cases with their own alternate covers.
