I imagine they will as well. I wonder if they'll rerelease each separately or not.

Excited for this. Don't care about the less-than-perfect PQ for the DC - it'll be the first and only version of that cut to make it to home video. If all we can get is a cut and paste job I'll happily take it.

Our first original film FENDER BENDER (which premiered earlier this Summer in limited theaters and on the Chiller network) is coming to Blu-ray, DVD and Digital in time for Halloween!

This intense and fun take on the slasher genre is written and directed by Mark Pavia (Stephen King’s The Night Flier) and stars Makenzie Vega (The Good Wife), Dre Davis (Pretty Little Liars, Scavenger Killers), Cassidy Freeman (Smallville, Longmire) and Bill Sage (American Psycho, We Are What We Are).

In true Scream Factory fashion, we even have newly-illustrated key art to premiere! This retro-inspired design comes from artist Justin Osbourn and will be on the reverse wrap. If your order from us directly @https://www.shoutfactory.com/film/fi.../fender-bender you’ll also receive this on a free 18” x 24” poster, which will be double-sided with the original main art on the other side. (Limited while supplies last.)

Street date is 10/4/16. Extras and specs will be announced at a later date here and the official Facebook Page at Fender Bender Twiitter @https://twitter.com/Fenderfilm and the official site @http://fenderbenderfilm.com

Honestly wouldn't be surprised if Fender Bender got one of the SDCC buttons. It is their own film pretty much.

Highly doubt it. It's their own film so that would just be a lazy surprise button.

The Buttons are about promoting Scream/Shout Factory films, not surprising us. Putting their own film on the buttons would make a lot of sense.

Nope, there's no time for first time releases as SF is too busy with re-releases as that's their specialty.

Same here. I DVR'd it with the expectation that I'd watch it shortly after it aired but it's still just sitting on my DVR.

OTA SD is just pretty tough to watch, for me. I will be quite the happy camper when Chiller finally upgrades to HD. A lot of good movies air on it, new and old.

I just don't understand how a network can still be in SD in 2016. It just doesn't make sense. Even if you don't have the HD versions for some movies you air, most films produced in the last two decades have HD versions readily available, their own TV shows (Slasher) were filmed in HD. Show it in HD if you have it.

Excited about both announcements today. Can't wait to see Exorcist III and Fender Bender.

Then again, DVD is still popular, and the studios still release on that format, even though a lot of content is readily available in, or native, HD.

I saw it. It wasn't bad at all, I was surprised I enjoyed it enough to want to get the BD when it comes out. Story was interesting, killer was as well. The actors are about what you would expect from this type of film, nothing great but not terrible either.

I don't think you know what a "specialty" is. Considering most of their titles are first releases on blu, your statement is pretty wrong. But keep going with that misguided sense of entitlement

Sorry, I'd rather them give us great releases of good/great movies instead of Z grade horror movies that don't deserve a release at all.

I understand why they'd do this, but it wouldn't really tally with all that secrecy business, given that people know this is a Scream production and knew a Blu-ray release was planned.

EDIT: What do we make of this suggestion that the September slate is not yet complete?

https://twitter.com/Scream_Factory/s...79167361241088

I can't imagine Scream thought the person meant October. This leads me to believe that the first of those limited edition site-exclusives will go on sale in September, so they'll surely be revealed soon, as per the podcast.

The best SF releases by far have been first time on BD in the US absolute gems like Class of 1984, The Funhouse, The Burning, From Beyond, Dolls, Ghost Story, The Howling, Phantasm II, Psycho II and III, Sleepaway Camp, Pumpkinhead, Terror Train, Motel Hell, The Tales from the Crypt movies.. the list goes on.. hardly Z-grade. mostly classics, actually.
