I think the people who used the orange cases for this have the single orange with a stick on hub for the 2nd disc.

That's exactly what I did. Got hubs and put them in. Turning my single case into a dual case. ![]() |

Finally bought for myself the below at the Best Buy in Soquel, CA on Wednesday August 24th. Pricematched with Amazon and used a $5 Best Buy Rewards Certificate. (Still keeping the MGM release listed due to a technicality.) ![]() I'll be buying the Second Sight release, Standard Case, when it gets to a decent price and put the custom 2-Disc or whatever OST CD I made with it. |

I'm pretty sure Mark Pavia said on Shock Waves that Richard Rubinstein (holds the rights to Dawn of the Dead) has the film, although he seemed to allude to a blu-ray release in the future.

It seems more like they've stopped commenting on questions regarding releases rather than a soft confirmation. They also responded with the exact same comment when someone else asked about Rumpelstiltskin (1995).

Now there's another announcement that would get me excited. I know comic con was only 1 month ago but with the wave of announcements that came after it from competitors it feels like it's been forever since Scream Factory announced anything or released something. I know this isn't the case at all but it sure feels that way. Hopefully with Halloween fast approaching I'll finally get my Tales from the Hood announcement.

I think they'd be better off just ignoring questions about titles which they might have or are looking to acquire. |

Hey guys, this is my first post on this forum as a long-time cinephile and recent collector of Scream Factory and other awesome titles. (I'll post my whole collection at a later time.) The most interesting tidbit I can offer as a new collector (this is in the 'steals' category) is that I just picked the Halloween Deluxe Complete Edition for $65 used. Other than slight wear and tear, it includes the booklet and discs in great shape.
I got it at a used media chain store called CEX in downtown Boston. It absolutely was a pricing error, as they most likely meant one of the other two cheaper editions. I didn't even realize until I got home which version it was, as it had been sitting behind the counter and the price for even just the 10-case collector's edition really didn't dip near $65 before, so I impulse bought it without a very thorough examination. I'm ecstatic for getting the Scream Factory discs of Halloween II/III, the 2009 Anchor Blu of the original (I own the 35th Anniv. Hardcover edition which I love), plus the bonus features disc for that price. I enjoy the 4th, 5th, and 6th to a lesser extent as solid horror movies with a nice Halloween fall feel and the return to Carpenter-esque panavision and better acting/writing in H20, despite it not being a true classic. I can even forget that Resurrection (which I haven't seen and am looking forward to in a drinking game sort of way) and the Rob Zombi films are included. I replaced his Halloween II discs/art in the black case with the Universal release of Halloween III, which I very much enjoyed watching last night. If you've read this far, I do have one question: I popped in Halloween II and thought the video quality looked quite good on my Samsung 55-Inch 4K. Is the Universal release that much better in "film" appearance and sharper detail aka worth the $10 bucks for a fan? For frame of reference, I quick compared the two versions of the first film and while the detail in the original Blu was quite nice, I absolutely can tell that the way the negative was scanned for the 35th had a more accurate, "film at 24fps" feel. Thanks! Anyway, glad to be here among fellow film fans! |

Most of them are two films on one disc. I can't think of any, offhand, that have separate discs for the films. |

I think the Carrie Double Feature was two discs. The Rage Carrie 2 and the Carrie 2002 remake.
