Happy shopping!!"

But I do love their movies, though.

The prices on these steelbooks are really baffling. Clearly preorders have been underwhelming but what were they expecting?? Cheaper than the original releases ever were.

I echo the doubts about the upcoming sale given their track record.

Also Shout is doing a Fargo Steelbook, which is now down to 12$. I have the three Carpenter Steelbook's on pre-order. I hope they keep falling in price. The only reason I'm buying them, is I haven't upgraded these titles in a while, so I wouldn't mind a new shinny Steelbook. Even though it's the same disc. Dropping prices will justify my stupid desire to buy these, when I already have them in my collection. So, please keep dropping in price!

Jeff said "very aggressive sale" and SF's "biggest sale ever".

So hopefully it's better than the usual meh prices with free shipping.

I highly recommend the Sleepaway Camp sequels,Owl! They are a lot of fun for me, and Part 2 is my favorite of the entire series. Also, they were shot back to back at an abandoned camp near Bremen, Georgia, so you might recognize some of the scenery. The disc for part 2, has my favorite special feature of any Scream release, a location filming vlog from YouTube personality, Adam the Woo. I really enjoyed seeing just how overgrown and dilapidated the camp's remains are today.

Is there an official date for this?

I don't feel like taking the time to scroll through past pages if there's a definitive answer someone can give.

No official date has been given, just "sometime in June".

I wonder if Scream Factory has the rights to Rattlers (1976).

I mean, I hope that somebody somewhere out there can release this one on Blu-ray, but all the better if it's Scream Factory.

I was able to order the Robocop sequels through Barnes & Noble for about $16-$17 with help from the 40% off sale and two 20% off mailer coupons, so I don't know how much cheaper they would drop in an actual Scream Factory sale.

I'm in the minority here, but I rather like the original, and did not care for the sequels. Very different in tone.

Thank you to Trekkie and the other member who answered my question regarding The Fog steelbook...

For those of you who already own Scream's first release of this, how's that DTS-HD MA 5.1 track on it? I know the Special Edition DVD I have contains what MGM calls a "Digitally Enhanced 5.1 Surround" track that is not more than a glorified mono mix; is the 5.1 track on Scream's Blu-ray any better?

Is there any surround usage in the mix?

I don't have a surround system just my TV speakers so that will probably be more of a question for someone with a surround system but the track is very clean and powerful. I watched it at my brother's house last year on his surround system and from what I remember I was very pleased. It's a little front heavy but there was good surround from around me as well.
