The demand for digital copies is baffling to me. Isn't it about the blu ray that we are purchasing rather than supporting digital that is physical media's rival? I'm strictly a physical media person so the blu ray is all that matters to me and only watch movies on my TV.

Do catalog titles usually have DC though? I've been going through my collection and it's basically just new releases that include it.
Probably easier to get millenial X to make a impulse buy of that copy of Rogue One they see on store shelves if they can watch it on their phone, whereas most people buying Squirm are probably horror collectors Not saying there isn't a niche within a niche for it, but perhaps it would make these releases even more cost prohibitive and hurt sales overall /end rambling of someone who has no idea what they're talking about |

I'll have to pick that one up from Scream eventually; I already own Tales From the Hood (which is on your wish list). |

In SF's case, the studios they license from want to keep digital rights for themselves. They know the future is selling their files digitally and having control over how those files are used.
All the more reason to have a physical library and create your own digital copies if you want to. |

On facebook, in the comments of their "5 Nights of Fear" post, they told a poster that their sale starts next week.

I'm surprised they wouldn't do it on the weekend... VS knows how to do these that's for sure, and approx 50% off is sweet. I doubt scream will do anything close.

I don't know why they feel the need to make their sales so needlessly complicated. Hopefully they just put up the titles and sell them, enough with that daily title reveal crap and titles that alternate weekly.
