They will, either later tonight or tomorrow I imagine. I'd be surprised if they kept the announcements going into next week, surely they'll all be up on Amazon soon.

Two discs, two run times, both cuts included. First release had some strong extras so I guess that, and the prospect of a new transfer, will be the main selling point here. And I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the Dawn of the Dead remake get the CE treatment before long.

So this is another re-release of a film already on BD. I know SF was interested in releasing Jaws and Child's Play sequels on BD but the plans didn't materialize due to Universal releasing their own versions. I really hope SF will eventually release these films as CE. Really wanted to listen to commentaries for the Jaws and Child's Play sequels.

Could Dawn of the Dead be another announcement? Or would they have announced them together if they had it? I hope they have that one aswell. Never seen Land of the Dead though...

Perhaps Scream thought it wise to coincide this title with Criterion's release of Night of the Living Dead, which looks like it might be coming in October also.

I plan on getting Land of the Dead to replace my DVD but it's going to suck not having Dawn on Blu-ray still. Already have Night and Day but I hear the rights holders to Dawn are dicks.

I don't know about Martin, but we know they're releasing Season of the Witch and The Crazies, and October seems as good a time as any

In the comments section for the announcement (on Facebook), someone says that Scream mentioned a few months ago having two Romero titles for future release. I don't recall this, but if true, I wonder what the other title is? We can rule out Night of the Living Dead, The Crazies, and Season of the Witch as they're coming from other labels. Creepshow is a Warner Bros title. Diary of the Dead I believe is a Dimension title, not sure how plausible that one is. Survival of the Dead had a strong Blu-ray release from Magnolia, not sure if it's still with them. Two Evil Eyes is apparently with Scorpion. Bruiser seems to be with Studio Canal? Martin and Dawn of the Dead, well, you probably wouldn't have one without the other, so either of these seem like a pipe dream.

As such, I'm not sure which is the most realistic out of that lot, if they do indeed have another Romero title.

Sticking with my DVD of Land. Just not a huge fan of it (not enough so to warrant a double-dip anyway).

It's possible that two from a few months ago had since turned into three.

That being said, I certainly don't recall reading or hearing any such comments from Scream Factory. That would have been quite the news item. I wonder if the commenter mistook Scream Factory for Arrow.

If it was definitely Scream and not just Shout in general, "There's Always Vanilla" wouldn't fit. But then, I wouldn't expect that to be released by anybody as a standalone Blu-ray anyway. [Maybe if Criterion does "Night" they'll stick it on as a bonus feature, that seems like the best hope at this point of that one.]

Exact same thing happened to me. Ended up with two identical shipments of Rabid/Slumber Party Massacre 2/3, and Ninja 3!

Still waiting on Tales from the Crypt Demon Knight and Bubba Hotep, and then I'll be square.

So Criterion definately is releasing Night of the Living Dead for sure? I had not heard about that

I think it could have. It's just as notable as Night of the Demons, I think, and that one got a special slipcover.

Just think, if Synapse had chose them over Suspiria, we would have gotten $45 steelbooks for both.

so has shout announced what those three shout select titles are yet I hope the hint that said small is small soldiers.

Small soldiers would be awesome but I don't know if it fits in the Shout Select line, maybe just Shout's normal releases.
