The Shining deserves the Criterion treatment. The Shining is a film. Most Scream factories are just movies (with a few exceptions).

I don't see Warner Brothers ever licensing out The Shining.

I picked up Land of The Dead, Dawn of The Dead, Rabid and Misery while they were on sale and got a price match on Silent Night, Deadly Night. I picked up Hell Night at the $21.99 Price.
That should do me for now.

June announcements are imminent (I'm expecting the first today really), so things should pick up very soon, especially if more Warner titles are revealed.

Hopefully they come strong. Scream is losing loosing major steam IMO. They seem to be good for little more than re-releases offering negligible improvements at this point.

Any reason in particular for expecting it today ?

There’s always the option of putting existing releases on 4K to continue another 5 years at least.

They have far too many steelbook re-releases to put out before they encourage triple dipping with a 4k release.

Well it's the last day of the month today, and usually we hear something right around now (by comparison, It's Alive was announced two days before the month's end). Also, they probably have to get all their announcements (including Select) done by about next Tuesday else risk Amazon spoiling them all, so I don't think they can delay much longer, unless they plan on revealing several at once.

Michael Felsher all but confirmed (or at least heavily hinted at) a Warner/Scream deal in his most recent Facebook live Q&A.

Paraphrasing, but when asked what was up between Scream and Warner Bros, he said he was not in a position to confirm or announce anything, but that Scream Factory has a lot of exciting titles planned for this year and that he is excited to be working on some of them.

When pressed specifically about Critters, he said he is not currently working on a Critters Blu-ray... but that even if he were, he probably wouldn't say so because he doesn't want to get yelled at by anyone.

Felsher is a very busy man it seems. I guess he'll have time to work on Scream titles in between Vestron's long lulls between titles. But this possible Scream/Warner development is way more exciting than Vestron at the moment. Can't muster much excitement for a line that only releases a couple of titles every 4 months.

Since Lionsgate is up for sale again would that not affect the Vestron line? Just wondering if anyone knows if perhaps it might and what is the possible change of new ownership of Lionsgate likely to mean? A better distributor for these titles held in limbo or slowly releasing as is the case for Vestron

This was posted in the Dark Force Entertainment thread the other day, it's worth mentioning here for those who like rumours:

I certainly wouldn't be at all surprised if this was the case, given that the title has been out of Lionsgate's hands for some time now, and it being one of Jeff's dream titles.

Oh, one other thing he said in the Q&A was that 2018 would be his busiest year in the business.

Take from that, what you will.
